Maybe this is why Cerberus is so powerful, TIM has so much charisma sunshine shoots out his ass.

If it wasent for TIM they would not have tricked the Quarians into landing so the Cerberus operatives would not have taken him....TIM is the most to blame, if you say he cant be blamed for that then you might as well say that Hitler can't be blamed for the concentration camps becuase he was not in direct control of them. After all hitler just ordered them to do it...he didnt really make them...right?....Now do you see what i'm getting at?

To be honest I just love TIM because of the way he was in ME2:lol:
And hes voiced my Martin Sheen man!

Every time I look on here we're talking about TIM

Pretty sure someone made the point on the last page, but it really is wrong to hold actions in the book against him.  In ME2 the writers changed his character to a much less evil person.  You can hate book/ME1 TIM all you want, but that character doesn't exist anymore.  Projecting his past personality onto him now is making people think he's a more evil character.

He's no longer an excessively violent terrorist, just the ultimate renegade.  Their is a difference.

The book coming out later this summer looks like it will make him eveil once again though...

If you sent Veetor the Quarian to Cerberus rather than with Tali on Freedom's Progress, Cerberus tortures him unecessarily for information.  He has to know it happened because he talks to you about the acquired information in the debrief.  I think it's all part of his "do what's necessary" mentality.

Anyway, to me Tali always reminded me of Delen from Babylon 5. Wait, Wait! I'll explain. In Babylon 5, whenever 'anyone' talked to Delen, the whole galaxy just seemed to become simpler due to her choice of words. Her gentleness, or her enthusiasm could always put things into perspective. I recall an episode of season 2 when she called everyone in the Galaxy, "Star Stuff," saying that we were all apart of a greater universe, building blocks of life, etc.

Whenever I speak to Tali in game, I get the same feeling, like...she can still see the Universe with the joy and wonder of a child, and that helps make everything seem less harsh.

Stop trying to get back on topic. It's not working.

Escpecially for someone who spent like 10 pages talking about how off topic everyone else was....everyone else was talking about Tali while you talked about how bad the thread was....OK GOOD NIGHT FOR REAL THIS TIME!!!

I can't bring myself to do a Renegade playthrough. I don't know why...
That's one of the few achievements on ME1 I didn't get. Image IPB

Even fictionally I can't bring myself to hurt people like that.
I tried to get the Renegade achievement in ME1, and was going okay at it up until the Racni queen. I sat there for 3 minutes trying to decide what to do, and in the end I couldn't kill her. I lost the achievement because of that.
I have no plans to play Ren in the second game. Since there's no acievement I'm not even going to try. I want to be the hero, not the thing of their nightmares.

We were talking about characters that reminded us of Tali or Tali's skin tone. Anything like that. Come on, please don't be Garbage, just keep the thread on Topic. It's not asking alot.

If anyone of you pushed that guy out of the window on Illium because he didn't give you information, you are just as bad as TIM. One death is as bad as a million to the guy you killed

I've never really considerd the books canon in the first place.  Bioware can lean on them for backstory, but they also can change any information that they want to from the books.  I prefer to use the games to get most of the info, and fill in any blanks with the books, not color my thought on the game based on them.

It wouldn't have been torture to a sane mind, it's regretful that they had to stress veetor more; but time was of the essence. I'd say it was more regrettable that he couldn't help with more info
