THE FOLLOWING IS A SERIOUS POST.

I'm afraid, my good man, you are misunderstanding the argument against you.

The argument is not that you are expressively prohibited from voicing a negative response to posted fanart. The argument is that you should show good grace and politeness in strictly limiting the negativity to a bare minimum, and in that minimum it should be helpful rather than a list of faults.

Better yet, use the forum's personal messaging to keep it from the public eye. The criticism I'm levelling at you is that your responses are suitable in the context of a niche graphics forum, or somewhere where the art is being published for the sole purpose of critique, rather than as an addition to a mainstream subject :

"Oh hai guyz, what do u think of this pic lol?"

Compare to : "Oh hai guyz. I love tali 2 lol. Here's a pic I made for her."

There's a subtle but important difference which deserves to be acknowledged in relation to the type of negative feedback you give.

This entire argument is ridiculous and unnecessary. I'm not attacking you personally and all I'm doing is critiquing your work. I haven't been sitting around this thread waiting for fan-art to be posted and smashing it. I gave my opinion on it and pointed out what I felt needed improvement or what I simply found wrong. You can't be an artist and expect zero criticism and you can't improve without it either.

I don't know what more to say, but if you REALLY can't stand me having a less than positive opinion on that fanart, it's as simple as ignoring said critique.
