Martin Sheen is a big big name and Yvonne Stahovski is very hot right now due to chuck.

Sadly no. From being around here I've gathered that KoToR and baldurs gate are supposedly awesome but...never seen either of em

Except by hiring known big name actors they become advertisement publicity.

How many reviews DIDN'T mention how good the performances by Martin Sheen, Yvonne Strahovski and Seth Green were?

Sorta like when Fallout 3 had Liam Neelson or Patrick Stewart in Oblivion.

They're basically Billboards that serve another function, to build hype for the game. Rarely is that cheap.

I liked her personality as a whole.  Good balance of being a nice person, but strong when warranted.  Then the cute way she acts around Shepard.  Plus she's the most loyal of the characters.
