Being Renegade TOTALLY makes you a dick in most situations. But it's amusing sometimes.

I've heard that if you blow up the council that people hate you.

Saving the council and the geth is a long term choice..having the council races instead of cerberus and the geth to help in ME 3 will be useful..same thign for letting the rachni live...paragon shep gonna have tons of allies in ME3

Actually the way ME 2 ended : everyone on your ship knows the reapers are coming so i doubt theyd just leave to get back to there buiness..secondly there already close to the milky way so im guessing you wont have time for a breath and jump back in the action in ME3 with all your team and maybe more

That's what I hope. But who saw the Normandy getting blown up and Shep's death coming?

Either way; recruitable Tali + Tali romance + a happy end where at least Shep and Tali, but hopefully also the rest of the crew survive = happy biotic god.
I'm not concerned about anything else, I already know that I'll love the gameplay and overall awesomeness of ME3.

Oh there are some pretty f****ed up renegade moments, such as the one the guy above referenced. Theres nothing "cool" or "badass" about leaving and injured janator to die. Tali wouldn't aprove.

What injured janitor? Where? xD

About that exile returning... can someone give me an exact quote? Because I doubt that, I only recall that Tali says exile's child can return to the flotilla... she never says that you can return from being exiled... you can be posthumously vindicated only.

That depends on who else you have in your team by the time. In ME1, one of your squadmembers always suggests the Renegade option, the other the Paragon option. From my experience, the only Squadmember that's less likely to suggest Renegade decisions than Tali, is Liara. If you team up with Tali + anyone besides Liara, Tali will usually suggest the Paragon stuff.

Its in thanes recruitment mission. near the begining the eclipse unleash thier mechs on the workers and you see this salarian guy running for his life but get shot, after you kill the mechs you can talk to him. Paragon you can use medigel to save his life. Or renegade you can say "hes no more use to us" and walk away. And as the guy dies he says help the others and ren shep says "their on there own ive got other business".

Renegade is only awesome in "some" situations like helping people but being badass about it in general its kinda funny but...

Nooonooo, but in Himmelstors(<-correct?) Fan fic, a reneagde shepard romances with Tali. If he gets upset about his feelings he goes to the cabin and destroys the fish tanks.

I'd recommend reading it!

Not sure which one suggests to let the Council die if you bring Garrus and Tali, but Garrus will shoot Saren in the head, and Tali will radio "He's dead." 

And in ME2, I think it's pretty obvious that Garrus has become more Renegade than he used to be.
