On my first Playthrough it was only Jacob who died.

Quarians - Reclaiming their homeworld.
Geth - On board already because they know the reapers are real and are a major threat.
Krogan - Curing the genophage.

Those seem like the easy three to me.  The others seem a lot more difficult.  Especially the turians.  Strongest army, a lot hate humans, councilor is an idiot.

The Geth however did not say they would five up the homeworld unless the Quarians were open to peace.

Shep can convince the quarians to peace.  It isn't like they've fully explored the diplomatic options anyway.  I can't see any possible way that ME3 ends without the quarians reclaiming their homeworld, so Bioware will come up with something.  All you need to do is convince the quarians that peace is the way.  I'm sure there's some way you can gain their trust.

But since we're talking of the galaxy's scum: Don't you guys think that it would make sense to create a huge army of .....vorcha? I mean, they mature fast, they reproduce fast, they're stupid. By using them you could very quickly build a large fleet.

I think the game is totally building up to the Quarians going back to their homeworld (probably via player decisions of course).

I mean come on, the game specifically mentions that the Geth don't use the planet, they get their resources from asteroids, that they've been taking care of it and cleaning it up, and that they don't even hold a grudge against the Quarians? Seems pretty obvious to me that the writers are setting it up so that the Quarians can (potentially) return.

It would be one thing if it was only being a nice guy that triggered the Ashley romance.  You just have to not be a complete ass on purpose.  They made it way too easy to romance her.  Saved a lot of Kaidans though

Well the Vorcha are almost a shoe in with the Krogan, since they're one of the few races crazy enough to beat and train the vorcha into soldiers.
