My bet is that the "allies" for the reaper war will all be from the council's "unwanted" list.
Essentially, Quarians, Geth, Terminus systems Mercs (Omega / Aria's faction), Krogans, Cerberus and the Rachni. Races / factions that the council had previously all scorned or counted as the enemy. Makes perfect ironic sense really, the Paragon path will lead to a "better - happier" ending with everyone singing Kumbaya around flaming reaper wreckage while the Renegade path would have almost everyone else wiped out cept for humanity (since you gave Cerberus the Collector's base) whom comes out of the war not only stronger then anyone else but with tech and weaponary far beyond others in either the council / terminus systems.

But since we're talking of the galaxy's scum: Don't you guys think that it would make sense to create a huge army of .....vorcha? I mean, they mature fast, they reproduce fast, they're stupid. By using them you could very quickly build a large fleet.
The Vorcha may not be quite as stupid as many think, and if they lack intelligence they do not appear to lack cunning nor ambition. Besides, if you want warships built quickly and efficiently the Geth are likely your best bet. "Organics" tend to be inefficient compared to the Geth if you listen to some of Legion's comments on the Citadel.

I mean come on, the game specifically mentions that the Geth don't use the planet, they get their resources from asteroids, that they've been taking care of it and cleaning it up, and that they don't even hold a grudge against the Quarians? Seems pretty obvious to me that the writers are setting it up so that the Quarians can (potentially) return.
Plus the game isnt entirly focused on the Quarians.
I think it will take some time to convince both sides that the other wants peace.

No, half of them assume that war is the only way to get their home back. That's very different.
None of the quarians know what Shepard knows about the Geth, thanks to Legion. In fact, it's safe to say no organic knows what Shepard knows about the Geth.
The Quarians don't even know that the Geth don't even use their planet. How could they? No organics ever return from Geth space.
