I like how Tali and Shepard met.

That Turian was all stroking her helmet, and she smacked his hand off her.  Then she threw a grenade at those ridiculous Salarians. 

Next thing you know Shepard and crew came running in, guns blazing. 

Though the entire scene lasted like 30 seconds, it had all the elements of a great story. An instantly detestable villain, useless henchman, an attractive woman, an explosion, and hero with with big guns!
