Antilles, you know I understand how you feel. I hate when this thread goes off-topic, I really do. And it really angers me when I see pages that basically look like 4chan. Not only does it bother me as a fan of Tali, but also because I'm a mod over at the IGN boards, and I'm just use to taking an issue when topics turn sour.
I admit, sometimes I want to yell at people to stop posting garbage, and just stay on topic; if they don't have something Tali related, or at the very least ME-related to post, then it's better to not post at all.
But losing your cool simply will not help at all. It just can't. It's the equivalent of throwing water on a grease fire. You think it'll help, but in reality it'll just make things much worse.
Whenever I see the thread go bad, I try and steer it back to with either Tali-related questions or comments, or silly Tali dialog, or Tali images/gifs/videos,etc . If that fails, then it's just a lost cause and it's better for me to leave and return later. I'd rather it not have to be like that, but unfortunately it is.
Thank you, friend. I see the errors of my ways. There are just points though where people do it because they "couldn't resist it." It is in that point where I see that people indeed should be yelled at. You must admit though, usually after I come in and alienate people into hating me, it usually gets right back on topic. Job well done, I suppose. Though for what it's worth, people have called me a 'stick in the mud' enough for me to simply not care what their responses are to me and vice versa. Not to mention there are people here who claim they are always off-topic and are glorified because they can speak eloquently. That name will not be stated, but you sir. I think 100% of your posts have been on-topic, and I have always respected you since I read your comments on page 13 of the first thread. You sir, are the kind of poster in this thread that everyone should strive to be, and I'm glad you still post.
Now, I'm going to go back to being sick, thank you again, Sergio.
