Also, though I wasn't here for (most) of the in-fighting, I still say that, as a group, the Talimancers are the most cohesive.

I'm not gunna lie, most of the time when we get off-topic, is because we argue about how off-topic we are.

For those who missed it the first time:

Well folks, we did it. We hit 2000 pages. And quite honestly, I don't feel like we've accomplished anything. This thread has became a staggering juggernaut of the Bioware forums, and in its 3rd iteration has reached a size I could not have imagined.

And I am, quite frankly, disgusted with how this thread has been conducted. Ripping on other members, posting pages and pages of spam, occasional poorly veiled racial comments, excessive quote walls, and going completely off topic for absolutely nauseating amounts of time.

This is not to say that everything about this thread has come to destroy my faith in the forums. In my time here I have seen some spectacular artwork, some wonderfully deep discussions, and some truly great ideas that I can only hope the devs on the ME3 team are picking up on.

For those on the thread who have kept the topic and the faith these many days, I salute you. To those who have continuously perpetuated the very things I've just mentioned, you are the reason why, effective immediately, I am leaving this thread and never looking back, not at this version or any of the others that will undoubtedly follow.

Thank you, friend. I see the errors of my ways. There are just points though where people do it because they "couldn't resist it." It is in that point where I see that people indeed should be yelled at. You must admit though, usually after I come in and alienate people into hating me, it usually gets right back on topic. Job well done, I suppose. Though for what it's worth, people have called me a 'stick in the mud' enough for me to simply not care what their responses are to me and vice versa. Not to mention there are people here who claim they are always off-topic and are glorified because they can speak eloquently. That name will not be stated, but you sir. I think 100% of your posts have been on-topic, and I have always respected you since I read your comments on page 13 of the first thread. You sir, are the kind of poster in this thread that everyone should strive to be, and I'm glad you still post.

Now, I'm going to go back to being sick, thank you again, Sergio.

I actually didn't post until quite a bit later than page 13 (I think it was like 100something), but thank you regardless. :D I hope you feel better.

Most likely. The new gaurd and the old gaurd are now at odds with each other. The end result will not be pretty.

No I for one will at least try being peaceful as KFD suggests *sigh* it just makes me sad how even Tali's thread is not immune to people attempting to force their views on others.:crying:

I just feel that you went to far. I just don't want to see arguing and since you came in here saying everyone was posting crap that started a argument.....Don't get me wrong we all want whats best for Tali and her thread, we just have different views on how to accomplish this.

Well, after 3 threads, two of wich past 1000 pages, you eventually run out of Tali based topics. Theres only so much one can talk about Tali before you just start repeating yourself ove and ove and over again. This is were the spam starts to kick in.

Although I don't agree with everything antilles333  said, and quite frankly he made me very angry with the way it was said, he made at least one point strike home.

Of these 2000 pages, so many things were wrong.  Flame wars, quote walls, spam in general, etc.  I'm no saint, I went off topic sometimes.  And to say any thread doesn't go off topic occasionally would be naive.  But there were a few times I just couldn't read this thread.

I started posting in the Tali threads about page 300ish of 2.0.  That thread was great.  I loved coming home  to read the thread.  3.0 has been a horrible mess, though.  I feel like some parts are ripped straight from a 4chan forum or worse.

It was a good run, and we made it to 2000.  But really, was it 2000 pages for Tali?

I don't mean to start anymore flame wars saying something like this, but really, we could have handled this thread so much better.
