Complaining about others complaining pulls us off topic.
How about we just stop acknowledging the complainers and stay on topic?

I'm not gunna lie, most of the time when we get off-topic, is because we argue about how off-topic we are.

For those who missed it the first time:
Well folks, we did it. We hit 2000 pages. And quite honestly, I don't feel like we've accomplished anything. This thread has became a staggering juggernaut of the Bioware forums, and in its 3rd iteration has reached a size I could not have imagined.
And I am, quite frankly, disgusted with how this thread has been conducted. Ripping on other members, posting pages and pages of spam, occasional poorly veiled racial comments, excessive quote walls, and going completely off topic for absolutely nauseating amounts of time.
This is not to say that everything about this thread has come to destroy my faith in the forums. In my time here I have seen some spectacular artwork, some wonderfully deep discussions, and some truly great ideas that I can only hope the devs on the ME3 team are picking up on.
For those on the thread who have kept the topic and the faith these many days, I salute you. To those who have continuously perpetuated the very things I've just mentioned, you are the reason why, effective immediately, I am leaving this thread and never looking back, not at this version or any of the others that will undoubtedly follow.
Keelah se'lai to you all. Releasing control.
Cry more, seriously.

Pull the stick out of your ass.
It's the internet.
Than go make 4.0's OP better than the rest.
No? Than mind your f*cking business. I come back to lurk and this is what I see, this thread is still a shame no matter it's achievements.

I... your right I suppose antilles has a point and it wasn't right for me to attack him over it.solazz wrote...
Although I don't agree with everything antilles333 said, and quite frankly he made me very angry with the way it was said, he made at least one point strike home.
Of these 2000 pages, so many things were wrong. Flame wars, quote walls, spam in general, etc. I'm no saint, I went off topic sometimes. And to say any thread doesn't go off topic occasionally would be naive. But there were a few times I just couldn't read this thread.
I started posting in the Tali threads about page 300ish of 2.0. That thread was great. I loved coming home to read the thread. 3.0 has been a horrible mess, though. I feel like some parts are ripped straight from a 4chan forum or worse.
It was a good run, and we made it to 2000. But really, was it 2000 pages for Tali?
I don't mean to start anymore flame wars saying something like this, but really, we could have handled this thread so much better.

Maybe, when this thread gets locked, and a new one started, things will die down a bit; maybe, if everyone gets a chance to cool down a little, things'll start to get better.
That's the dream anyway.

Good posts? Are you new to the internet? Going away posts are never good. They're narcissitic, self important attempts to make the community he is leaving feel bad about itself simply because they didn't fit his specific idealologies.
It's garbage, if you're going to quit, just leave and don't look back.

If you're talking about the 2.0 thread, then yes. But I didn't join until a bit late into the 1.0 thread.
I went searching for Tali-related discussion/info after having beaten ME2. She was simply too awesome to let it end there.

not Tali related but
I bed it has too do with gender, some form of showing the differences in the 2
like how the men dont wear hoods either and you can see the cords coming out the back of their heads
