Aww, that's no way to look at things. Though I do admit to occasionally (scratch that, often) sharing your outlook... Astrophysics and cosmology for me, though. Possibly AI research, though frankly I find the geth more impressive than EDI simply because she was given her sentience and sapience, while the geth achieved it on their own.

My dad's a mechanical engineer, works for Johnson Matthey. Well, really he's in the marketing dep and works a lot with the EPA and such, but his degree is in mech eng.

I always wanted to be one since I was a kid, but all of the academys I've looked at said you need 20/20 vision to enroll.
I, sadly, do not have 20/20 vision.
