I know this is random but do you think that there is a point we can reach when humans sleeping with humans would be considered inbreeding?
I know that probably won't happen for like another infinite lifetimes but still...motivation for outward expansion?

It works if you only have two other squaddies left.  (i.e. If she's the only person on the diversion team, and if you let a squaddie get taken away by the seeker swarm.)

Well, that's what the video shows. She's in some sort of leadership position. Fantastic voice acting for Tali there, you can really feel the danger of the situation. And she made it out alive! But Shepard shouldn't have just patted her on the back...you gotta hug her, bro.

Carl Sagan is a hero. Was very sad at his passing. Seems a favorite feature of Symphony of Science.

Yes, his death was tragic, though not entirely unexpected. And Symphony of Science is brilliant, no question

HOW depressing would it be if we achieved space flight and FTL drives and all that stuff and were able to travel the entire universe and galaxys and what not only to find out.. we are the only Life in the universe.......

haha here's the kicker...
the degree takes 4 years:mellow:

 The dual physics and engineering degree program between WCUPA and Penn State takes five years to complete. That's insane. Also i'm the first person to do dual phys and comp sci, and the phys department is really small, so I'm kinda hanging by the skin of my teeth when it comes to scheduling everything so I get what I need without any overlaps. Scheduling for most people is a breeze; for me, it's a living hell.

Yeah from what I hear free time will be a luxury next year...and I should learn how to not sleep and function at the same time

There are a LOT of vids out there like this, and it makes me want to go out there even more! Sometimes I wish we had the tech now, but then I remember what Legion and the Ancients for Farscape have said time and time again: if you are neither smart enough nor wise enough to achieve it on your own and thus use it correctly, then you don't deserve to have it.

Very wise, and very true.
Good things rarly from trying to use something that you don't fully understand.
I broke a floor-buffer like that once.

Indeed that would be, but then again looking at the universe...galaxy even, the sheer size makes it likely that there are at least a few more sentient race out there. Though how much they would look like Quarians...that is another story.
Even then...the conditions for life to form are so specific that there would most likely only be a handful of other species

Kinda interesting that you said that.
That is the underlying theme in the ME universe I think. The reapers "gave" the galaxy Relay and Mass Effect tech but because of it, no one developed vehicles that could "jump" space since there was never a need to. Why waste time finding out how to make a ship go ino hyperdrive when you already have the relays? Which plays into the reapers hands since if they take control of the citadel, they can shut off all relays and thus isolate everyone making them all easy targets.

You have to realize that it's very unlikely that human DNA would be compatible with many other species. Inter-species relationships would likely be purely for companionship and love, nothing more, as it is and should be with Tali and Shepard. Sadly, I can actually see Tali telling Shepard they must end it and then she would go to Kal'Reegar. I actually find this scenario more likely: Shepard dies at the end of ME3 and tells Tali to go back to Kal. 'Twould be a sad, sad day, but also a touching one.
