If you have no current romantic interest there's no scene to interrupt and Joker just contacts you over the comm.

On my ME1 no-romance playthrough, I spoke to Ash ONCE and I got that 'almost kiss' scene. A funny thing is that if you want to stay without romance you have to ruin that scene on purpose to hilarious results. Responses to Ash basically amount to f* you and f* your grandfather !

I can't hope to keep up with the speed of these threads, so I will throw in the thought that occurred to me today and not worry about it.

I had been having some angst about the possibility that we would lose Tali to the admiralty board, but I realized today that I want that to happen.  The scenario would go something like this.

Tali is named to the admiralty board and, true to her nature, serves her people at the expense of her relationship with Shepard.  Time passes between ME2 and ME3.  In ME3 the Conclave is determined to go to war with the Geth.  Tali agrees with ME2 Shepard that this would leave both he Quarians and the Geth weaker for the Reaper attack, maybe even destroyed.  The admiralty board is divided, so Tali reconnects with Shepard, the only organic the Geth have sought out and even trusted.  He sneaks to the Quarian homeworld using the stealth systems on the Normandy.  He connects with the Geth/gathers information/makes alliances/etc. in a series of missions.  This leads to the opportunity for reconciliation with the Quarians with the Geth able to return homeworld to the Quarians(which they have cleaned up since the Morning War) and fly off to download into their Dyson Sphere.  Shepard uses this and performs other tasks/missions that bring the admiralty board into unison, even the ones who had been for war.  A unanimous admiralty board uses its veto power to overrule the Conclave and bring about a peaceful resolution to the Geth conflict.  Then, per Quarian law, they all resign their posts permanently.  Tali, having fulfilled her duty to the security of her people in every respect, is free to follow her heart and pursue her feelings for Shepard, if he still wants her(hint: hell, yes he does).  She rejoins his team to combat the Reapers and pursue a romance too long denied.  With the safety of the galaxy assured, she and Shepard go to homeworld together to fulfill her father's promise of building her a home.

I think that would be awesome.

I was so rude to Ash that the one scene where she talking to her sister, her sister says she saw a news vid w/ Kaiden (not Shep as normal) and Kaiden was cute. It was pretty funny, I was like wow, even the sister thinks I'm an ass.

Don't know about hacking the elevator, but would alway calibrate, yea calibrate the camera angles during the elevator rides with Tali.

I really do hope they keep both Tali and Garus as recruitable in MA3. I was already cursing at the MC maneuver in the love scene.


PS.  Also be very careful guys with those enviro suits you may find somthing that is squishy and smells funny.
