Well it's easier for Shepard to romance Tali. He knows what quarians look like, even if he didn't know what Tali specificially did. We received no such luxory. We only can guess.

I don't really want to see what she looks like. However, we will in ME3.

I assumed that quarians were descended from ambush hunters rather than endurance hunters (like humans).  Thus the smaller/slighter frame and the pouncing.

Schrödinger's Tali - So long as the mask is never taken off she is as hot / not hot as the individual percieves her.

I'd rather she crack that seal and see who she is than to forever wonder. We'll have to wait and see on Bioware's decision for ME3.

Well I prefer to look at it from a business stand point.  Bioware wants people to buy ME3, and they will want us to buy the crappy continuation games after ME3.  The best way to do that is to make as many people happy as possible.  This means showing her face, which a large majority wants I'm pretty sure, and then make her as normal looking as possible.  The less polarizing they can make her, the better, and any normal face to me would be fine.

But like I said before, it doesn't make a huge difference to me, if I wanted a romance based on appearance I would have went for Miranda.  It's more of a completion thing than anything else.

You are right.

But thats not a reason to undress the mask.
Thats an reason to leave it on.

Because so far all was focused on her personality, "because she don't have a face".

I think, that will change if the people could see her face. They will focuse on her look too...

I am in your complete agreement. But if she leave off her mask, she maybe will loose some of her personality. And i think, if you don't know how she looks really, she is much more interesting.

That and I think the curvature of the shins lets them get more spring out of their bounce.
It's no wonder Tali bounces around so much (ie that pic where it looks like she has to take a ******)...her legs are just so springy because of their curvature

Its not depressive, its bad ass!  It makes me think of a marching army conquering foreign lands for the great Empire!  Evil a bit, yes, but not depressive.

See I think that's why they were right to leave the mask on for this game.  It let people fall in love with her character in the first place.  Now that we're all sucked in, it won't be that easy to get rid of us.  If they had showed her face at the end of ME2, a lot of the talk would have focused on her face instead of personality, but that isn't a concern anymore.  Doing the same thing two games in a row is a bad idea.

Honestly, if some people stop liking Tali because she doesn't fit their ideal picture, that's OK with me.  There's no way that's true for even a small minority of the people though.  I'm much more concerned with Bioware screwing up her personality like Liara than I am about them screwing up her face.
