No, the other pods launched a while before Jokers I think. What I really wonder about is how there was anything left of Shepard Cerberus could reanimate. How did they manage to turn dust back into a human?(Or did he not actually fall into the atmosphere of that planet in the background?)

In that case he could easily survive being hit by pretty much anything. A shell fired by a modern tank wouldn't leave a dent in that armor

Is there a codex entry on attack drones?  That seems like something that they would explain.  It isn't something that's unique to Tali.  Legion, engineer Shep, geth primes and even random mercs can use attack drones.  I've got no idea how it would work, but they usually explain stuff like that.

Attack drones go completely unexplained. Even Shepard who had nothing even like them in ME1 gets one as an engineer in this game.

Most likely they fall under the category for VI combat support under troop tactics. How the system alliance has to rely on modified VI's to supply addition manpower for their operations.

There's quite a difference between living and having just enough pieces of your body survive that you don't qualify as dust.

I would also think there is a difference between a descent towards a planet, and a quick forceful impact like that of a tank shell.  I would imagine the shields could handle the former situation better.  That said, I don't think we know anything about the planet he landed on.  Who's to say that there was a strong atmosphere that would offer a lot of resistance?  It could have just been the equivalent of a massive fall.  In which case pieces would remain.

Well something had to break his fall otherwise hed have been vaporized.

Keep in mind it was a snow planet. So maybe he was lucky and landed in maybe 20 ft of snow and was preserved long enough for cerberus to find him.

We could find out by reading the planets stats in the game.  It could have very low gravity.  As for the shields it would seem that all types of defensse for well for different situations.  Specific types of attack to take shields down faster and maybe they held up just enough for some of his body to make it in then freeze.
