First off, hello to everyone, I've been a massive Tali fan since ME1 and when i discovered she was interested in Sheppard and realised she was an LI in 2 I was very happy. I am trying to make my way through this whole thread from version 1.0, but seeing as I'm only on page 130 out of over 2000, its gonna take a while. A number of the posters are wondering if Tali has hair/what colour her skin is etc. but something thats been niggling at me is why have Quarians, Geth, Turians and Salarians all got 3 digits on thier hands, it seems like a bit of a lack of imagination on the Devs part to me. For the Geth its probably just because the Quarians made them in their owm image (apart from the flashlight faces of course), but why so many others, any ideas?

As far as similarities in digits, I would say its the same reason as 3 or 4 races are just humans with a minor change.  When you want to make a lot of races, and you want to make them all bipedal with 2 arms, eventually you're going to run out of major differences.  I think they did a good enough job making all of the races distinguishable from each other, enough so that I can overlook things like batarians being humans with 4 eyes.

Quarian skin color is unknown, the face behind the mask is most likely her actual face (shape) but the color is gray (both games), most likely only because other color would interfere with mask glow...

I actually saw Joker in the wheelchair and Shepard riding on the back, like a shopping cart.

My guess is Quarians are pale skinned due to the lack of exposure to sunlight for generations. I'd also imagine they'd be hairless.

I discussed this with someone... 300 years is too short peroid for actual evolution. They might loose skin pigmentation as individuals, still they would be born with skin color.
