Although, some of the things said in this thread are creepy messed up. Yes, wanting to make babies with a digital persona is going way too far.

A lot of the last 5 pages or so was discussion on this. Bioware can justify making them whatever skin color they want. We don't know enough about their biology or environment to make any conclusion. (note that was more to bennyjammin, I agree with the premise that 300 years isn't long enough for a complete change. Although that's kind of moot since if quarians did react similarly to humans, Tali would be pale, and that's all that really matters.)
As far as hair, we have no real evidence. I think they'll have hair since the head scarves can be easily linked to hair analogues. Circumstantial stuff like eyebrows on placeholders and the fact that no one besides humans have hair, and quarians supposedly evolved similarly to humans are also around.
I have to disagree with the hair thing.
1. Having a sweaty, matted, unwashed head of hair jammed into a helmet isn't going to help maintain the sterile environment Quarians need.
2. The hair would look thin and patchy after a lifetime of being rubbed off by the helmets. Think Cryptkeeper. Ew. Not very hot.

Omg, people seriously care so much that if a thread that isn't their favorite gets stickied, they get mad? That's pretty.. nvm.
But I had a question which is more Quarian language related than Tali. But still gonna ask it here.
We know that in the Mass Effect Universe they use some kind of translator that translates all the alien languages. But why doesn't the words "bosh'tet" and "Keelal se'lai" gets translated as well? Now don't get me wrong, they do add something. But I find it odd that those words aren't getting translated.
Could be that the makers of the translator knew that it was a specific coloquialism, and made more sense untranslated than directly translating into something weird.
That said, I try to avoid delving too far into matters that don't really make sense if you look at them. (Like the fact that all mouths sync up with english, not random alien languages.)

All Translations need to be updated and maintained. Batarians do it so they can keep threatening council races.
It's up to the race to chose how much of their language gets translated while somethings cannot be translated at all as that is their actual name (Nathak, Varren, Dog, Cat).

Tali won't look like that, she'll have smooth skin like an asari, and we know her basic facial shape and can assume the appearance. Plus the fact that Bioware has all of the motivation to make Tali attractive can't be overlooked.

Because no one fiured out the true meaning? Or these wordss just have no translation.... e.g. like the German "Rabeneltern", "Ravenparents" freely translated is used for really bad parents, but I never found an synonym in an other language.
Or, in the case of "bosh'tet" the word is not suitable for anyone, so it is "censored" by not translating it, and "Keelal se'lai" is more like a relegious term like "Amen" which has also no translation.

Sentient translators (IE Bilingual organics) find phrases that do not translate. Similar situation. Only ME has great translation. Plus cultural bleed. Example: Air Quotes.

Looks like smooth skin to me. Obviously she would be younger and her facial shape (especially jaw line lol) would be different, but all I'm saying is the smooth moist skin with no hair is how I think the Borg Queen may resemble them. Again I hope I'm wrong.
