That MSNBC poll makes me very happy. It's one thing for Tali to win by a landslide in all the polls here, but to win by so much in a poll from a News site? That's just amazing. Obviously, we had some influenced on the poll, but I bet 90% of all the voters were people who've never even posted on the Bioware forums.

I don't see any reason you should be discouraged from posting a youtube link.  If people are stupid enough to click on them, let them load, start, and then actively watch them, they deserve to see Tali die.  It isn't hard to avoid seeing.

But from the Collector base I mean.

But the signal will travel far beyond the collector base, unless something blocks or absorbs it.  It may take a while to travel, but there is nothing saying that there has to be something in the base to receive it.
