None died on my first play though. Well acept Zaeed but who cares about him? Hes a optional download and will probably never bee in the third game.

I think downloading Zaeed was a waste of two minutes of my life.

Zaeed is pretty badass.

Just have enough paragon points to set him straight.

Even the most hardcore paragons should take the renegade path on Zaeed's mission.

If the mission was to kill Vido, i'd agree. THe mission was to save those workers. The paragon thing and the mission required it.

Would Tali be considered Trained militarily? She's very effective and skilled enough to hang with Shepard's crew so she's not a slouch. I'm not sure how accurate a representation of the average Quarian warrior she represents. No other Quarian has proven such aptitude.

Kal'Reegar is the only Quarian that fits the exception but he is only one Quarian. Let's go over this, the admirality board sent a squad of the fleet's best marines to retake the Alarei. They didn't get past one hallway. A population of 17 million distilled, trained and given the very best gear of their arsenal making them the deadliest sons of b*tches in the entire fleet. Not one hallway reclaimed. Nothing rescued or saved and they lost most of the team too.

They want to fight a war with this?  17 million and I doubt even a good sized portion is military. Kal'Reegar explains vividly that they don't have the gear to outfit an army. They don't even have the antibiotics to survive the kind of long entrenched fighting that it will entail. He said the smart thing to do was to fight the groundside Geth with their fleet from orbit.

He's correct on 2 accounts.
1: Air superiority means life and death in the Mass Effect universe because the one with the skies is the one that can rain down bombardments and meteorities with impunity.
2: Logic states one on one, a Geth will always win a straight fight in a land battle. They have superior fire power and communications, this is Geth territory after all. A shot up Geth can just redownload to another platform, a shot up Quarian is a dead man with a timer ticking over his head. Quarians cannot afford to go toe to toe.

He had one oversight.
The vast majority of Geth are NOT planetside. Even if the Quarians took the homeworld in one single glorious assault wiping out all Geth, they would be met with a near instantaneous mass response from the remaining majority of Geth. Now the tables have turned and the fleet is pinned against the planet and the Quarians get to enjoy the fight from planetside.

I'm forced to side with Zaal'Koris Vas Qwib-Qwib because he's the only one preventing their outright extinction. Hopefully by bad mouthing Xen and Gerrel the Quarians will delay their suicidal urge long enough for Shepard to finish his mission. Then they'll have to ask mighty politely because they'll need Shepard to retake the whole damned planet for them.

I know that the quarians cannot go to full scale war with the geth, very few people can. Even the council doesn't particularly want to do it. However I don't think we can make the huge generalization that "all Quarians suck in combat." I for one believe that their navy would be quite well trained and would get most of the defense budget. Also if Legion is correct the geth do not want to go to war with the Quarians anyway.

She is trained millitary. " You have the best military trainiing in the Migrant Fleet"

You are Shepard you make everyone look bad.

Its a small majority its actually one of 3 opionions on what the fleet wants to do. One wants peace, one wants war, one wants to continue the way they are.

Also I asked them all for peace. since I think both side were wrong in the Morning war.

Instead of sleeping, I'm posting more from my phone! Yay! My ability to format and quote is nerfed though.

Tali doesn't seem combat trained past survivalist fighting. However, she is a great deal more intelligent than the average quarian. Even in her description during the suicide mission it mentions her ability to solve things through intelligence instead of brute force.

I mean, look at when you first meet her in ME1. instead of reaching for her gun, she tosses a tech mine to disrupt the battle.

The quarians are weak physically. In a large-scale firefight, even Tali would not fare well. Her strength is in that she is underestimated and somewhat brilliant in micromanaging a small battle situation.

As grunt says, "Turrians, salarians, asari, are all weak, quarians not so much." I don't remember what he says about humans. But apperently Grunt thinks quarians are the least weak of the races next to Krogans being the strongest. The humans are just the bullies of the galaxy.

Quarians should should built some bad ass mech or combat nanosuit rather fight with their crappy
environmental suites. It will save a lot of their people. Maybe I hope in ME3 we will see Kal'Reegar
punch some geth with super strenght from combat environmental nano suit and Tali has a unique skill
to call for heavy mech that she can ride from the sky or orbital strike from the migrant fleet like hammer of dawn from gow 2.

Not very many quarians use custom suits like Tali has.

Soft

Quarians, not so much. Probably indiciation of their suits
Turians you have to work the blade, I don't see much point to it though. Heh, "much point", ahh nevermind.

Maybe I should, the only times I really talked to him were to see what kind of upgrades he had to offer, and to talk about his mission.

Thats my point. XD Quarians are harder to kill then most races like a krogan is hard to kill the way he says it.
