I liked both of her looks in ME2, but I am curious to see how she would look with the colossus armor color-scheme.

Do you have the PC version?
There is a big mod thread around the forums somewhere, people have been doing custom textures.  I'm fairly certain it is possible to alter NPC outfits if you use TexMod, you might try to get someone in that thread to make a black/red Tali texture.

My brother even said that when he was playing ME1. he said "Tali is a sexy beast" which meant a lot because he had no idea that she was gunna be a LI and no idea how popular she was, and he still didn't know she was a LI after he romanced Jack. Needless to say he started another playthrough 

And dat Colossus armor shoulda been the alternate outfit for ME2. All of them should.

Yes I did a play through in ME1 all Tali (never did that before) and ME2 (as much as possible). It was nice...noticed a lot more likes hints at her interest in you (though very subtle).

I also found out that the Quarians were looking for Ilos at one point (go figure).

Because of graphics. If the Colossus armor got as much detail as her ME2 outfits, it would pwn them.

Highly disagree.  I like her neck jewlery and the style of her "shawl" in ME2 much better, as well as the patterns on her suit.  I also think that the white/purple/gold color scheme is really quite attractive.
