Let me tell you how my encounter would have gone if I didn't redo ME1...
Liara: Shepard, prepare to feel the wrath of-
Shepard: *biotic charge then shotgun to her mouth* I win.
Tali: Hah! Pay up Miranda
Miranda: *mumbles and gives Tali 250 credits*

Heh, seriously. Liara in ME1 was totally lame then she's mindflaying people. I'm gunna be scared to have her in my squad. Omg...If you romanced Liara in ME1 then cheated on her with Tali in ME2 then turned Liara down for Tali in ME3 then you lose Liara's loyalty and she dies!

Btw, I replayed ME1 for a romanceless Shepard for Tali.

But I didn't do it out of concern of consequences in ME3. I did it because I wanted my personal Shepard's story to only include Tali as his romance. <3

The comic explains what they did to her, the Shadow Broker got her friend that helped her get Shepards body back, and tried to kill her.

And then theres that small part not in the comic when they make out
