[Scy Lancer]

With ME2 I decided to do 4 run threws. First to just beat the game, romanced Tali. Second pure paragon, romance Miranda. Third pure renegade, romance Jack. And lastly a full end all beat all game the way I would run personally with... romance Tali... cuz shez da ****.

I feel guilty not choosing Tali for 2&3 though... Just doesn't seem right.

Tali was my fave character in ME1, and I wanted her to be a LI back then. I went into ME2 not knowing (or expecting) her to be a LI, so I just figured I'd hook up with Miranda.

Then  after recruiting Tali, I heard Kelly talk about her wanting to be more than friends, and I was all "Whoa, does that mean... :O"

Then one day, I go talk to her in engineering, and I hear her start babbling about trusting me enough to link her suit environment and all that, and that was when I knew for a fact she would be a LI, and Miranda went pretty much ignored from that point on.

Almost the same with me. Except I was going to do the "loner" thing again. untill the "taller wants to be more" then I said o **** nad talked to her after every mission.


Shes the best character in any game that I actually like enough to not want anything bad to happen to them. The character is just that well developed.

I have been playing RPG's for a long time so this is saying something.

That works too.... A dick move but it works. Since your a male shep it would not be hard and it eliminates a LI along the way and you can grab up Liara and ignore her for the entire game. and she wont love you.

Hey man, at the time I didnt know she would die. I just wanted to make sure Kaidan set up the bomb properly.

Conrad is glitched I got him killed  and he came back from the dead so I shot him in the foot. And Liara always hugs you. if you romance her the hug is longer and more meaningfull.

Acutally, there is nothing wrong with your save. For Liara, she does Hug you if the two of you were just friends. If you were Lovers, she kisses you. And the Conrad thing happens to everyone. Regardless of how you treated him in ME1 he says you put a Gun in his Face.

I actually helped her kill her mother so that may have something to do with it. I talked to her enough to get friendly but no LI

Do what I did.  Romance Ashley and have her die on Virmire.

Nah. Still meant that Tali came in as a rebound.
The only bounding Tali should do is when she *pounce!*

Couldn't really understand some of that, Beyonder, but, like I mentioned before, if you start the game on the default setting, Liara just greets you because you didn't have any supportive talks with her about her mother in ME1. If you imported a save where you were just friends, but she was there when her Mother died and you comforted her afterwards, again with no romance, she still considers you a Close friend, hence the Hug. If you were Lovers, you get the Long Hug and a quick Kiss.

Along with being hit on alot... Made me laugh when they did that infront of tali after i romanced her... no wonder she has confidence/trust issues.

Right there with you. I *always* Loved Tali. But since she seemed like the Mission Vao of ME1 I never gave it much thought until the Tali_Love Thread on the old Forum started buzzing with the Rumor that Tali was a LI. Then, when the game released, Tali's responses to Shepard on Freedom's Progress hinted at something. Then, on Haestrom, I never Squeed (Thankfully I was alone) when she says, "I wish Shepard were here." Then when Kelly mentioned her wanting to be more than friends (and here's the sad part) I acutally did a little dance on my Couch. I felt like such a smuck, despite how happy I was...

What? Games aint cheap. I want the bang for the buck. Get the full experiance and all. Besides Tali is still number 1 in my book... I just wish she would use her knife.
