Sorry, Shep deserves a little happiness for everything he's done.  He can't do anything else for the galaxy if he's dead, either.

how would you explain it to tali

I just did.  I'd feel terrible, but Shep's already died for the galaxy once.

tali: im so glad your safe shep... but every time i think about all of those women, men and children..... i just dont know:crying:

I've brought up Terminator in the past, so I won't go with that. I'd show her....Titanic. She'd probably enjoy the star-crossed lover aspect, and the story is pretty simple; it's not a story you'd need to be human, or even alive at the time of the movie's creation, to appreciate.

Strange Days

Armageddon (good romance and drama), maybe independence day (just plain epic)..

But she'd probably love Wall-E.

How many damn times do I have to save the citadel, anyway.

I would stay on the ship to pilot it away, but (and maybe this makes me a bad person) I would let Tali stay. Of course I would try and convince her to leave, but if she really did refuse then. . .well, I really can't think of a better way to go.

... hmmm did not really put that in there as a  option .. but stilll....good man:wizard:

:innocent:
Hey, if you gotta go, you might as well go out happy.

hahah ok its mass effect 3 your kicking ass and taking names,
you, tali and who ever you want are on the last reaper that just wont die for some reason?

you just got done over loading the core, as its last act to kill as many people as possible it will ram into the citadel killing every one.

you have to pick stay on and pilot the ship away .. or get off and let every one die

(for those that stay on)

you decide to stay on the reaper pilot the ship away from the citadel

tali says she dose not want to leave you there and will die with you
the only way to convince to get of is a renegade option
where you tell her she has never meant any thing to or have her be dragged away by who ever you brought with you on the ship however this will take longer and they not might make it bakc to the ship in time but you don't know for sure, either way she watches you die

(for those that got off) *tehe i made a funny*

how would you explain to tali what you did was right

Well to knitpick the question a little.  The Citadel isn't the best place for a reaper to do a suicide bombing if he is aiming for all out attrition.  There are something like 4 million inhabitants on the Citadel.  Earth by comparison, has 10 billion.  I would imagine he could do more damage by hitting any number of colonies and planets.

Another thing, did you see the size of the Citadel compared to Sovereign?  Unless this reaper is an uber giant one, he isn't destroying that thing.

As far as the question, I'm not really a fan of lose, lose, really lose situations, so I'll cheat and put my own spin on the answer.  I would probably leave with Tali.  There is clearly a better way of explaining to her that you should leave than destroying her emotionally.  That's pretty much the bottom right option, like in Tali's trial, that option is only there for Tali haters.  The intimidate or charm option would be much better, so I pick that.

As far as letting millions of people die.  Does it make me a bad person?  Maybe, but I just saved billions from the reapers, and I want my happy ending, I earned it.  If a few more people die, I'll just have to deal with it.  If I get looked at as a heartless jerk for it so be it.

I thought the Citadel was 12 million.  But even that is miniscule in comparison to 1 billion.

Oh, and for the other one, the Garrus or Rayya choice?

The Rayya is a civilian vessel.  It produces 1/3 of the food for the Migrant Fleet.  It's probably got thousands aboard.  I dunno what ship Garrus is on, but I bet it's less important.

Garrus is/was a soldier.  He knows that his life is forfeit for the right strategic reasons.

Sorry, Garrus, you are a good friend.

I interpreted it as save the Citadel and the population there, dying in the process.  Or leave, live and let them die.  There's something about explaining your decision to Tali as well.

Reaper crashing into Citadel.  If it hits, everyone there will die.
Shep can save the Citadel, but only by dying.
1. Sacrifice self
     a. Allow Tali to go with you.
     b. Convince her to leave.
2.  Jump ship
     a. Convince Tali you did the right thing.
Explain your choice.

Then the answer is that I would I save the citadel and die with Tali. I couldn't bear to think of the grief that she would go through I was killed and she were still alive. It's also rather romantic to die together...of course, death as a whole is not something I want to happen to Shepard or Tali to begin with, but hey.

Anyways, nothing like this is going to happen, unless Bioware wants their HQ stormed by the talimancers.
