No worries, mate. Bioware may like trying new things and taking risks, but they didn't get where they are by doing D-Bag things in thier games. They know (hell, even Christina Norman confirmed it in her twitter) how much we Love Tali. They know the Proverbial ****-Storm that would happen if they killed Her, regardless of Story development, etc.

Yes Ascension is the best one since it deals with quariens on the fleet.

Wow. Are you being sarcastic? I can't tell. Oh, man, if you're not you have NO idea how much you've missed out. Three books have release and the Middle one is all about Quarian. The events are even mentioned in ME2 during the Freedom's Progress level. Cerberus attacking a ship in the Migrant Fleet. And Tali elaborates on it later on the Normandy.
*Edit: Yeah, Ascension is the name. Awesome read.

ME isn't going down that easy. It has a loyal fan base. If nothing else BioWare does. I grab whatever they come out with knowing it will be good... not always great ie Jade Empire, but good. ME has evolved the RPG experiance for me. I can't go back to FF7 style RPG's now.wolfstanus wrote...

Actually I am not sure if its the same "line" she tweeted that you are referring to but if it is, I don't see it means much. She just said in the tone (that i percieved it to be said) like "Gahhhh!! You guys really like Tali don't you? *backs away slowly not taking her eyes off us*
Nothing much to make out of that line.
Now if she tweeted, "Don't worry guys we know just how much you love Tali, I can promise you, you'll be pleasantly surprised." or something to that effect, then its a whole different kettle of fish.

No, it's true. I don't trust EA. I always say I hope the Doctor's go tell EA to frak themselves if they try to rush ME3. Still, the Writers are some of the best in the industry, plus they are fans themselves. I know Bioware will take care of Tali, and hopefully keep EA far away. ME2 made a heap of Cash, so EA should be happy enough to back the frick off Bioware and let the Devs do thier thing.

Just to let you know, the First book in the ME series is kind of slow. It's a prequel to ME1 and has to do with Young Anderson and his first encounter with Saren. Second book is about the Quarians and is awesome. Third book is a prequel to ME2 and is about the Elusive Man. Won't spoil anything, but just wanted you to know in case your wallet forces you to be selective.

You know, all this talk of Tali....
(Sigh) I Love it, you guys know I do, but the only thing that gets to me is, well, all this talk gets me really excited, and all I want is to see my John Shepard bring peace to the Galaxy, Marry Tali Vas Normandy, and win back Tali's Homeworld. Not nessasarily in that Order. However...Mass Effect 2 just pretty much came out. So, that's begs the Question: How long are we going to have to Wait to see all those things happen? What do you guys think? ME3 in early 2011, 2012? I REALLY want Bioware to take thier time and tell EA to go Frak themselves if they try to get the Devs to rush the game. I want it to be "done" whenever it releases. But...ugh...the idea of waiting more than two years just...man...it gets to me sometimes...
I´m guessing.... fall 2012
So we are treated to pure awesome while the world ends? sweeeeet.
Hmmm... 2012 just says, that there will be a "great change", it could also be the year of first contact (with quarians

Hell Anderson is my n*gga. He's the only one who has your back... well him and Tali that is. And if the second book is about the Quarians I think those two will get me threw a few years waiting for ME3.

The worst part is after ME3 there won't be another game involving Tali ever again.
Any book, comic book, and even side story game(Mass Effect Galaxies) will not have Tali in it since it is possible for her character to die in ME2.
It will be the end.

I'm not entirely convinced that she meant that quite as you suggest. I believe that she sees Tali, and every other character important enough to have his/hers own fan thread, as a more prosaic figure than we, the fans, do. When something is your job you tend to stop seing it as something fascinating or worthy of 1.5k pages long forum discussion.
Another thing to keep in mind is that she wrote it on tweeter. It's not a place where you usualy talk in a formal manner. If that had been said by a PR person or in a news conference, for example, then I would be worried.
It wouldn't be a good business strategy, especially in these times, to denay a loyal fan base stuff they(we) want. Especially if what we want is not outlandish or not in the context of what went on so far (story wise).
