I'm pretty sure the only difference is you don't get the "I'll prove it's me" dialog. I don't think she'd really hold it against you, that data was classified Alliance data afterall.

Considering that the data was about Geth evolution, though, it may become important in ME3.  Tali said it would take years to descipher -- perhaps in ME3 it could work as proof of the Geth's non-hostility, and enumerate the differences between the Geth and the Heretics?  I'm not so sure that completing her pilgrimage will be that trivial.

The dialogue, there is no pause between the talks either, you can complete one "session" say bye and talk to then again and get the next part right away IIRC. In your example Miranda didn't go for the romance line because you already did the option the shuts you out.

It's not specified how far the Geth drove them nor how many Quarians had a chance to flee. Looking at the fleet I doubt most of the ships were the kind that launch from the ground.

Hypothesis: The only Quarians that were spared were the ones that had a running start out of the system.

I'm a rather grim person actually, I think I'll just leave the conversation at that to avoid causing more off-topicness.
