Yes, this discussion comes up a lot now it seems.

Well my discussion about it wasn't who was wrong (they were both right for various reasons) but rather the extent of their past aggressions.

Unfortunaely it keeps track if you shut down Romances so if you turn them down once they are not avaiable anymore forever. So in my first run I was romancing Miri, but broke it off toward the end whe nI picked up tali a little before doing the IFF. Went I beat the game and could continue I could get Miri's scene because I broke it off with her previously. So I ended up loading a previous save before I go the far and didn't turn her down. That way I could get all three scenes back to back. So that also means you can't for instance do tali, dump her, do Miri, dump her then do jack, dump her then go bakc to tali because you broke up with her to get the other romance options.

I however always ended up with Tali after this experimentation. She had the most compleling storyline. All the others where "thank you for helping me!" sex or with Jack's renegade scene pure lust fulfillment.

I see. And Idk why you would bother going all Paragon in order to be able to do that. I don't want to spoil my canon Shepard (or any Shepard for that matter) with the likes of the other LI's :innocent: Like Shepard would say, "I don't want anyone else, I want you".

Sorry.  Both sides perpetrated horrors in the Morning War.  And by both sides, I mean that:
- the quarians committed a monstrous act in trying to kill their synthetic "offspring."
- the geth are up the their flashlight heads in quarian blood and it is not excused by "self-defense."

What are you expecting them to do? Destroy the quarian army and then just say "let's live side by side peacefully now" and expect the quarians to remain peaceful and not take revenge, this time with a better plan? They had to at least permanently cripple the creators to ensure their survival and stay out of contact with them to avoid the quarians finding a way to remotely shut them down or reprogram them. In my opinion, they did as little harm to the quarians as

Not a bad plan.  Any time you leave an enemy alive you face the chance that they will seek revenge.  But if the alternative is too monstrous to contemplate...?

Actually there's no proof of that either way. Most likely the geth would have been brought back but under very strict limitations keeping them well under the sapient threshold.

Humans have had rogue AI and they still make use of mechanized soldiers.

Did they let the Quarians leave or did they cripple the Quarian population? (speculation, not sure on the matter as a whole).
