Of course they would deactivate all Geth. It's as simple as flipping off a switch. I doubt they were pulling out assault rifles as soon as the order came out.

But the fact is we don't know if they were have abandoned the Geth entirely. Once a majority of the networked Geth were down(not killed!) they could probably just rework the machines into simplier VI's.

Geth don't die the way we do. We can't be brought back to life either (Ha ha funny TIM, now shush) biological life cannot be reborn.

I doubt the Quarians would have abandoned the Geth technology as you say they would.

I hear it's quite a show though :P  point is I have only 1 playthrough on ME1 (first) with a romance (Liara) and not one playthrough on ME2 that isn't Tali. I was gunna do Jack on my Renegade playthrough but halfway through Tali got recruited and Shepard was like :o:O:O.....damn loyalty mission.

Either thing is problematic.

We don't have enough evidence, but I'm not sure this is true.  That war was only winnable with a recently uplifted race that had just been given technology?  Really?  And then this unstoppable rachni-killing race gets axed by the turians hard enough to get put back in the box by the genophage?

I don't buy it.  I think the salarians saw a shortcut to winning the rachni war and took it without considering the long-term consequences.  Which may or may not be surprising, given their short life spans.

Meh.

DSes and GSes played a bigger role in Shivering Isles than in Vanilla Morrowind anyway.

Krogan had unstoppable numbers and the biology to withstand the harsh planets the Rachni lived on. Rachni where winning with out the introduction of the Krogan. So logically the other races could counter the Rachni numbers.

My renegade engineer went opposite. I initially meant to romance Miranda, I even managed to kiss her, but I followed up on Jack instead.

The big problem was attacking the Rachni Queens, they lived underground in a planet that was toxic and all other races could not get into. The Krogan were the only ones capable to go and finish off the queens.
