Well that will be fun. Maybe one day if Doc and I ever get our act together we'll get a crack at writing one. Throw in a Quarian romance just as a nice throw back to all of us who love Tali.Beyonder101 wrote...

Thanks.... Think the next book would be the prequil to ME3 then?
Hell Anderson is my n*gga. He's the only one who has your back... well him and Tali that is. And if the second book is about the Quarians I think those two will get me threw a few years waiting for ME3.
Also I'm glad to see the thread has picked up some pase.
All Tali fans, read this! IT'S UP TO US TO KEEP TALI ALIVE! 3.0!!

The worst part, Glenboy24, isn't waiting 2 years for ME3 and more Tali.
The worst part is after ME3 there won't be another game involving Tali ever again.
Any book, comic book, and even side story game(Mass Effect Galaxies) will not have Tali in it since it is possible for her character to die in ME2.
It will be the end.
Wow, talk about depressing
If I didn't know better I would thought you are just a random troll^_^
What you said is true, and I will move on (I moved on from Aerir afterall) eventually. Personaly I don't believe that kind of thinking is good for the soul, I just enjoy what I have now, and I look forward to what I might have tomorrow

It wouldn't be a good business strategy, especially in these times, to denay a loyal fan base stuff they(we) want. Especially if what we want is not outlandish or not in the context of what went on so far (story wise).
That is what worries me.
I still do think that for Tali to come back as teamate and LI, the other LIs need to same "affection" by the devs. Meaning that a fair shake is given to Mirranda, Jack and so on, as I am pretty sure that other LI fans will be as POed as we are if their LI of choice does not make into the final ME3 LI arc cut and Tali does.
The easy choice for Bioware of course is to nuke all existing LI arcs and we get a "new" one in ME3. IF they did that...it'll suck monkey arse for sure and I am sure they aren't going to do so because as you said, it makes bad business sense to PO *everyone* of your loyal game *buying* fans.
The next best thing is to bring over some but not all your previous possible love interests and the most logical ones to bring over are the ones in ME2. However which ones to drop would be interesting to see.
The one I'd like to see is if they go all out, take into account what you did from ME1 to ME2 to what you do on ME3 and have *all* possible LIs (and perhaps a few new ones) available, including rekindling the spark between Ashley / Liarra / Kaiden or with an entirely new person if that is what the player wants. Pipe dream? Most likely. Possible? Who really knows, this is Bioware we are talking about, they do surprise us from time to time with what they are willing to do to give us one of the best RPG experiences ever.

BioWare knows how to make a character their fans will love. Tali is the best so far. We still will remember Tali in other games and I'm sure they will make characters to her achatype. Tali's spirit will live on.Wally2905 wrote...

Oh Dear god don't take Wedding Bells as to the style we would right for a true ME novel. Wedding Bells is a rom/com idea we throw around.... I'll also but up the next chapter next week. Things have been crazy for us.Beyonder101 wrote...

RIP Wes....
Enough gloom and doom.
We'll make sure to make a referance to Tali if BioWare ever picks up P&B Productions.

I think people will be surprised -- I don't think it is a pipe dream at all. The ME1 LI's were held out of this game specifically so that they COULD come back for ME3 guaranteed. However, it is clear that a lot of people liked the LIs in ME2 and they did develop them very well, so my thoughts are that they will be back and that the relationships will continue (probably with complications if you had an ME1 LI!), with the possible exception of, perhaps, Thane. Keep in mind that virtually all the production effort in ME3 gets to go into setting and story -- ME2 had a lot of engine and gameplay development to do, but they're keeping that part the same for ME3, so it is all about the story.Archonsg wrote...

ME3 is where most of our decisions that we've made throughout the series will come to a head, and they planned it that way. I expect big things from Bioware and I think that they are poised to deliver. They've always known that this series would go this way, and they're experienced developers. They know what they're doing They haven't made two epic and incredible games just to let the finale of the series flop because they weren't willing to put in the time and resources to do it right. ME3 is the swansong of a ground-breaking series; they will NOT screw it up.

You, me and lots of others too I suspect. It will be bittersweet. Still, it should be a fantastic experience and one I would much rather have, and wistfully look back upon while lamenting a lack of similar scale and quality until BioWare or someone else comes up with the next truly epic game franchise, as opposed to not experiencing it at all.

Agreed; those are my expectations as well. I have complete faith in BioWare's ability to deliver.
