Renegade option when you take Legion to the flotilla:
Greeter: Get that thing out of here!
Renegade Shepard: You know sometimes when I take Talia around the citadel people call her "that thing".

That's heroic IMO.  Just one example but my point is Renegade options are all "jerk" or "douchebag" Shepard.

I think that's more snarky than heroic.  And I'm sure Tali loves being reminded of that.

You're right, bad example. You said it better, mostly the Renegade interrupts seem heroic/badass. Some Paragon options should be available to Renegade, like the interrupt on that C-Sec guy and the Volus during "A Crime in Progress" on the citadel?, coulda been a Renegade option as well.

1) She also says people expected more from her than other people

Which says exactly what about her?

2) So what if they grew up on ships, it's not the ships that make a community, it's the people inside those ships

That isn't the point.  The point was that she was in similar conditions to other Quarians.

How can you say you know someone, if you have no insight into the reason they are the way the are...

I didn't say that.
You think that I'm saying that her information about the Quarians is irrelevant to knowing about Tali.  I'm not saying that.  I'm saying that it doesn't tell you what her personality traits are, only why she has them.  Of course this is important information, but only knowing where Tali comes from does not tell you what kind of person she is.

And also, you do learn about her personality as well, just by the way she relates to you everything about the quarians and her life.

What, exactly, do you learn?

Yeah, it's tough following a biological imperative.  On the other hand, the chances I'll die alone are somewhat mitigated now.  And I always get a sincere hug (or two) when I get home, so...

I will give you that one.  That was one of the few times ParaShep gets to go totally righteous on someone.

I can't see how Tali can be almost entirely paragon, except the geth.  Most of her opinions are in regards to the geth.  She's more paragon than most.  But she has plenty of renegade lines and choices.  The Prazza and Qwib Qwib interactions come to mind as renegade.

She's very nice to people who deserve it, doesn't mean she's 95% paragon.

What did she do negatively in regards to Prazza and Qwib Qwib?

I mean yeah, she called Qwib Qwib a bosh'tet, but that was completely understandable, given Qwib Qwib's previous dailog.

And Prazza, well, he just wouldn't follow orders. Hell, when they first encountered the Cerberus team, she immediately yelled for weapons to be put down (which was before she noticed Shepard), that's paragon-y :D

I'm not sure what part of; Prazza was an idiot, and he and his men deserved to get swiss cheesed into tiny pieces at the hands of that mech, was paragon.  Paraphrasing a bit, but that's how I interpreted what she said.

And yeah she's justified calling Qwib Qwib a bosh'tet.  The same way a lot of other renegade actions are justified.  Doesn't change the fact that it would be a renegade choice.

She doesn't interact with people all that much in the game.  When she does, she is just as apt to be stern and more renegade as she is to be paragon.

What would the point be of any under-suit ornamentation?  Not even other quarians are going to see it?

No. Bad. Bad idea. Awful. Don't do it.

On a serious note, my two main issues with it are:

1. Bad idea given her immune system.
2. No one would ever even see it.
3. And I personally find belly button piercings disgusting. :P

1) That she had expectations, responsibility, and pressure growing up... more so than some other Quarians.

2) She wasn't in conditions similar to all other quarians.. most ships are different, and she was the daughter of an admiral, making her slightly different than quarians on even her own ship.

Knowing why someone has certain personality traits, is just as important as knowing what they are, sometimes more important... not everyone is upfront about who they truly are, taking everything as face value is naive.

That she had a tough life, but instead of giving into it, she stayed strong.. That she's a fighter

Pretty much the same thing as the Paragon option. A shove here and there, then Shepard get's all badass and says "I you're gunna run in a Spectre? I think both of you should get out of here". Would have been awesome if you punched that C-Sec guy after he said "Why don't I run you in ARGH"

Not really.
For example, one Renegade option in Mordin's quest when he finds the dead Krogan female has him telling Mordin that it took guts for him to own the results of his decisions, and saying it in a tone that suggests admiration, or at least respect.

It's true that Renegade options are often a bit mean, but far from all of them.

I'm already skirting the edge for ME2.  I was very glad when they released that patch to fix the game for single cores.

Single core? Oh, ouch. :/

Wife and kid, man.  I got expenses.  I'm upgrading next year, but still, I don't want to have to chase Crysis-like system reqs.

I'm... I'm so sorry... :(

Crysis system aren't sooooo expensive anymore, the graph-card (8800 GT) for ultra-high settings (dx10, without AA and a screen resolution of 1280x1024) costs around 100€ (don't know how much in dollars) and a good processor around 100€ too. You can salvage your DVD drive and Hard disks from your old computer and maybe also a knew RAM and power adapter... so if a 300-400€ PC can manage Crysis on high, than Xbox 360 ports would be no problem...

Sorry, the PC-Hardware nerd just came out... I LOVE to set up PCs!

P.S: Punish me god, I've sinned by playing Bad Company 2 instead of ME2 and know I am demanding destructable terrain for ME3, a sinner I am!

Sorry, but just had to review some papers according FOL (first order language - philosophy), those things make you think in a weird way, seriously.

But I just tried to express what Tali's curves are
