Yes I am back...Again...

The "Garrus, Mordin, Grunt and Rael Junior Adventures" fanfiction I made is now complete (Before it was only small parts of it).

But For my lack of faith in my work I don't think I will post it. And beside at first it was suppose to be a dragon age origins fanfiction.

I just modified an ancient work of mine to make it a mass effect fanfiction.

Don't know if it's a good idea...

I know how it is to have no faith in ones work. I've delayed posting my fanfic for a week because of it, but I got quite a positive feedback. IMO, you should take the bull by the horns and post your work. 

In the end - it doesn't matter if people will praise you or not. You're an artist, therefore the only thing that should matter to you is the fun you had while writing your thing.

This time, Tali was pleased with her guests. They didn't do anything to upset her son (she heard him giggling), they didn't do anything that could break the house – like last time...
After the last incident in her house, she had warned them that if any of them showed up again, she would not hesitate to obliterate their offending presence with a shotgun.But they liked Rael very much and he liked them too. So she forgave them... for now.

Yeah wtf happened to Liara, in ME1 she was all nervous and sweet, in ME2 she turned into some hard-ass suit threatening to flay people with her mind.  I mean yeah she is pretty much the only reason Shepard is alive and wasn't turned into genetic goo, but c'mon, Tali posesses all the emotional and moral traits we'd all like to see in others including ourselves and that is why I truly believe that her following (myself included) loves her so much.

Dinkamus_Littlelog read this persons reponses there (page 3). Says Tali got no character development. Obviously another Liara fan angry that their fav char got benched and take it out on others lol, all subjectivity, no objectivity in that persons post...

Damn, you have a very short attention span it seems. Considering the love was kept and strengthened over the two years between ME1 and ME2 and we plan to do the same until ME3 haha. Damn dude you have a really short attention span =\\\\

As far as I'm concerned you are both right. Time and distance apart will often initially lead to an acute sense of longing and sense of missing that someone or something. Given enough time however and for most individuals the acuteness of that sensation will lessen or become numb. This seems a likely defence mechanism by each of our psyches which attempt to protect our psychological state of being from painful and distressing memories, thoughts and feelings. However, there can be a fine line between the psyche taking defensive measures and one simply being shallow in one's commitment. The old adage "Out of sight, out of mind" rings entirely true for some though I personally subscribe to the notion that while it is easier to relinguish someone or something once they are no longer around as a constant reminder, sometimes it is worthwhile for a person to actively try to hold on to various thoughts, feelings and memories in an effort to keep alive something that has meaning and personal value for them. Still, a lessening of the distress caused by absence is not necessarily a bad thing as we do indeed still have duties to attend to in our day-to-day lives and not being able to distract ourselves to some extent makes the wait seem far longer and far more excruciating. I advocate a more moderate middle-of-the-road approach whereby our love and longing for someone/something (in this case Tali'Zorah and ME3) becomes akin to seeds lying dormant in the soil, waiting for a bit of rain and then the warming rays of the Sun to once more stir us and awaken our love and desire, spurring them in to full bloom once again.
