I don't know about you, but an infiltrator with Engineering / Biotic skills sounds pretty Nerdy to me too. Personally I think Nerds / Geeks ...you know people with brains are the true rulers of the world.
Besides, its good to interact with another nerd, especially the female kind. Its all about interfacing and the transfer of data.

Howdy youngsters! :o

Just taking a break from writing to see how my favourite Tali lovers are doing?

ME: Redemption has thrown a wrench in to my writing Liara meeting  with the Illusive Man  but i am working around that.  Just  finished  main introducing of Tali and Reegar

Haha, yup official fiction will do that.  And remember - you'll never please everyone! <_<

I'll look forward to reading it all but could you post a link to your profile so Iz can subscribe?

I got it worked out i used the Tali and Reegar portion to introduce one of the crossover characters... using the Liara, Illusive man conversation about getting shepherds body introduce an character  that is infamous to the ME universe... Lets just say i am  to turn the ME universe on it head.

Depends on your definition of nerdy. Tech genius? Then I guess so. Though, I don't really dig those clueless blondes, you know. Image IPB

Also, I didn't see Tali falling over and tripping at all, so she isn't that much of a clutz. Quite the assertive gal. [/quote]

She's only awkward in love, and it's this insecurity that we find so endearing.  Ech, where's KFD when you need him? <_<
True that, the shyness about love is so adorable. Image IPB

What the...!?

"Just saw the two positive comments on her Shepard x tali fanfiction"

No,no,no, that not possible, there must be a mistake somewhere.

It wasn't even a serious one, I don't even know anything about 'funny fanfiction'.

How could that...

That's why we love her :)

Although I don't think she's a clutz. You know, highly-skilled engineers generally aren't ;)

Don't take it too personally mate, a lot of people read the whole thing so far and then leave a comment on the latest chapter regarding the piece as a whole.

Btw if I haven't commented on yours yet I apologize, so many great works to get through! ^_^

Ehh, I suppose. But an author wouldn't be happy if everyone just read it in the store ;)

I direct you to our OP. Lots of information there that should help you comprehend what I, and many other Talimancers, find so appealing about the lovely, delectable and enigmatic Tali'Zorah vas Normandy.

Oh, and "troll alert" btw.

:D I was off in ME land playing ME2. I just confirmed a bug in ME2. The N7 mission where you re-take the Franklin Alliance Javelin missile base from Batarians that have launched two missiles at the Watson colony, whichever option you select the opposite will happen! In other words, if you opt to save the residential area and the hundreds or thousands of colonists then then the game will think you saved the military/industrial sector which allows for the continue strategic viability of the colony. If you choose to save the military/industrial sector then the game will think you chose to save the residential area which will save the lives of the colonists but will result in the evacuation of the entire colony as it is no longer sustainable.

Aww, I remember how nervous I was my first time.  I was refreshing every two minutes to see if I had any update messages. :D

As a writer I try to comment as much as I can because the only way we grow as writers is by hearing what to enhance and what to improve and well, it's just manners isn't it?

Keep following your heart, let Tali inspire you and don't pick 'Forced Entry' as a title (funny story - ask MarineBorn). ^_^

Odds are the staff would call them on it given that many books would take many hours to read.

I've read some, but not all, of the fanfic and I've enjoyed a lot of it. I do not always leave comments however and when I do often I simply prefer to send a direct e-mail to the author.

My Shep is more renegade than paragon but even he wouldn't sacrifice the lives of so many innocents.  That would just be mean. :(

See, my Shepard is a reflection of me and thus is a Paragon with the odd occassional Renegade action. On my first playthrough I was genuinely torn over that mission decision. There are sound arguments for either choice. Eventually I opted to save the colony or so I thought. I later discovered that in my completed mission log it showed up as though I had chosen to save the industrial area. I just played that mission on my second play through and this time I thought about it some more and chose to save the industrial sector. I noticed that it said "several hundred lives" whereas on my first play through I thought it said "several hundreds of thousands of lives".

Callous? Possibly, however given that our decisions have long term consequences and that habitable planets with viable colonies are limited (and the Watson colony is the only one of its size in the Sigurd system,) the long-term planning, pragmatic strategist in me would say that in the grand scheme of things the tragic loss of several hundred people is justifiable if it allows for a planet to become a new hub of human civilization and expansion. Still, my humanistic side recognizes that it's easy for me to say sitting safe and sound behind my monitor without a direct personal stake in the matter. The hundreds of people and their families in the Watson colony may not all share my more pragmatic sentiments. It's a brilliant example of BioWare forcing us to make an unhappy choice in a bad situation; either way we lose something highly valuable and we have to choose between the short term pay off vs. the long term pay off....I hope I'm never actually placed in a situation where I'd have to choose because from a leadership position I lean towards saving the backbone of the colony infrastructure that would allow us to settle new families and continue the growth of the colony....even if it means sacrificing hundreds of lives. :( Granted, if the factors involved change so might my decision. If humanity had a much smaller population then the safety of each human life would be far more pressing. Also, to be frank, it strikes me as unrealistic that the Alliance does not have the resources to keep the colony running if the infrastructure is destroyed. It's a matter of political will and what other areas you are willing to cut back on to bolster that area instead.
