As far as digitigrade legs go, it has more to do with the foot than the knee. Digitigrade literally means "walking on toes". If you think of a dog's foot, it's got it's toes on the part of the foot that it walks on, though the equivalent of a thumb and heel is further up, not touching the ground. Where as Tali's feet are not like that. She's flat footed:?

quarians are not, in fact, digitigrade. Tali's legs have the same joints as human legs. Her shins simply have a "recurve" shape. Also, she walks flat-footed, not on her toes. Very flat-footed in fact. She even has a characteristic waddle due to it. I think it's kinda cute^_^
