There are freaks everywhere.  Some are just more overt than others.  If you didn't like everything that a freak liked, you'd be restricted to liking pretty much nothing.

There are always freaks for everything.

The proper way to like something is to acknowledge that you like it for what it is. Then to be able to properly evaluate it's worth.

When you are incapable of the latter you are simply a fanboi.

My favorite anime is Dragonball Z. But is Dragonball Z the best anime? Is it even the best anime i've seen? No on both counts by a large margin. Does DBZ have wack job fans into all various types of disturbing fetishes? Yes

Doesn't change the fact DBZ is MY favorite anime.


Like something for yourself, if the reasons other people like something is different from why you like it, learn from it and keep going.

Ok so I know this is kinda random. But today I was in the machine shop and I was mounting the pneumatic shifter to the engine, trying to get it in the right position

.

One of the other guys then comes up to me and asks "Hey, do you have a moment? I need you for a bit."

I then reply "Hold on a sec...I need to finish up calibrating this damn thing"



After he walked away I realized what I had just said to him and laughed on the inside
