Instead of coming to terms with the possibility that they have made a mistake and that their creation has awareness that should like any other child be taught and perhaps in the process learn to co-exist, the Quarians panicked and tried to pull the plug, essentially murdering children, children with teeth and ability to pull a trigger, but still, one has to wonder what would have happened if they had not made that first strike against the geth.
Legion says too, the geth are still wondering what motivated the creators to start that war, hinting at a possibity of peace in the first place.

Don't buy it. You can't trust the Geth of now. You really couldn't trust the Geth of then, but the Quarians should of never struck first.

Geth are machine, they process logic and values far differently then we do. We can know know truly what motivates them to do anything. They can be prone to very difficult to comprehend choices. They could be deceiving us entirely.

Not that I actually think thats the case, as machines you can't trust them to do anything but what they're programmed for.

actually best cure would be to break up with miranda with renegade breakup, do same with jack, if she's alive on your playthrough then romance tali. the lack of temptation will choke the curse and you'll be free.

I have to agree with both of you guys.
The quarians are my favorite species, but they made a series of bad choices and paid for them.
Going to war will almost certianly either kill their species or destory their homeworld. If they ever want to see theri planet again, then some sort of peace needs to be reached.
