It's tough b/c there's only so much to discuss about Tali before we run out. I honestly find that debating on other topics is extremely fun, especially considering that the other people are for the most part incredibly mature.

We're all here because Tali is awesome. That's a fact. But I don't see anything wrong with us letting a conversation, that started Tali-relevant, play out and seeing where it goes.  

Look, wisdom! 

I'm sure it would be useless to point out that the previous discussion evolved out of a Tali discussion...

Honestly, is this post really better than a technically off-topic discussion that grew from a Tali-related one?

I can see wanting to nip explosive, quote-tree arguments in the bud, but it doesn't seem like doing a dump of the same Tali photos that everyone has seen umpteen times is doing any more for the content of the thread than having an actual discussion.  JMO.

Personally, I see some of the quarians disapproving the relationship, but Tali not giving a damn.

We didn't have a discussion because the discussion was killed when you posted those pictures. It's difficult to hold a conversation with someone shouting in your face.

I thought that our discussion was incredibly mature. We were discussing a natural part of the human mentality and in a very thoughtful way I think. No one was yelling "OMG! I LIKE P33PEEES!" We had found a topic and were playing it out.

Trust me, we can only talk about this stuff for so long. Conversations like that wind down after a while. Just let  them run their course and give this poor person before you the honor of having his voice heard.

I don't really think they'd care.  Quarians have enough concern about overpopulation that they wouldn't really care whether Tali can have kids with Shepard or not, and it isn't like Tali has some sort of royal bloodline that they're concerned about sustaining.

Besides, interspecies relationships seem like something that aliens have accepted long ago, especially with the Asari around.  It is stated in-game that Quarians routinely have relationships with other species; hell they made a movie about it   If they have relationships, there will be marriages.

I dunno.  They seem pretty insular, but I think it's a reaction to the way they've been treated by outside races more than anything else.  A lot of Quarians seemed impressed by my Shepard after he chopped down the admirals in Tali's trial, and it's not like they have some kind of breeding imperative.  I think they'd be okay with it.  Maybe not if it was Conrad Verner, but Shepard is exceptional.
