That's what it was semi-inspired by. The other inspiration was Tali I'm assuming. <3

I imagine the lack of post-suicide mission specific content is related to the fact that you are prompted by the game whether you want to begin a new playthrough with new game+. I guess players would assume that because you are asked this, there is nothing special after the end of the game, just another opportunity to finish some sidequests. I'm not sure if they're going to release DLC to bridge ME2 to ME3...I've heard something like that, but I'm not certain. So long as it's quality, I'm all for it.
Like Collector said -- it is because the "continue" option is primarily so that you can continue to play DLC on that character when it finally does come out. Honestly I'm happy that there was any post-mission dialogue at all. It made me smile to know that Tali enjoyed herselfantilles333 wrote...

Wouldn't it be nice to get some reaction to the suicide mission? Shep was right about the Reapers, and now he has proof. I'd like to see the Council eat some crow. And I'd certainly like a little more interaction with my LI than just one line and then reversion to the pre-lovescene dialogue. That, Bioware, is what we call a cop-out.
Yes, I don't know why Tali would tell me she's going to research ways on how to be intimate with humans after she already has.
Clearly a post modern image rendered to remind us of the frailty of life in a harsh uncaring universe. Complete with the racial undertones we have come to expect from Mass Effect, the rainbow in particular; a nauseating reminder of the many shapes and colors alien life is capable of expressing. The dark point of origin, the mass relay emanating with ominous red lines. The price we have all paid for travel through the stars is to be confronted with oblivion. Truly a terrifying and thought-provoking peace, I hope to see more from this artist in the future.antilles333 wrote...

I think I'm the only one that might get the Anchorman reference here. "See that rainbow over there! Do me on it!" It's from the scene where they both have that weird animated feel to it.
At least that's what I get from this picture.

Though if you analyze anything to death, even a really cute and wacky image can seem to have hidden meaning. Just like analogies or symbolism in Mass Effect that we all presume to be put there by the devs...they may just be our own varied interpretations.

Shepard's past is completely in your hands though. My colonist Shepard had his family murdered and saved Elysium. I think problems would lie with Shepard's mother (if you're a Spacer) and how she would disapprove (total understatement) of the relationship.
I don't think the Admirals themselves would really care so much though, to be honest. I mean, they were so quick to change her name to Vas Normandy before the trial began. They also don't look to fond of humans as you hear from the banter in the hallways as well as from the admirals before the Admirals were about to re-convene to blow up the Alarei.
In all honesty I think that some of the few quarians that care about Tali would be Shala, Veetor, and possibly Gerrel and Reegar.
I agree with you here, although I think that Shala would prefer it if Shepard were Quarian.I, personally think Shala would be happy that her niece has found love.
Well thanks, and you still sound like Jacob. Haha.Jakegnosis wrote...

Emphasis mine. I get that, and that's why you rule. It was a deft takedown of half the idiots I met in college.

I don't think Tali would humor you if Shepard told this to her. She doesn't like having to wear the suit all the time. Not only that...but how dangerous it is to be with Shepard as she desires.antilles333 wrote...
