Also, small abomination that came out of my crazed mind. Read it only after taking good amount of Prozac.

There we go...

Mass Effect + Pulp Fiction = ???

Tali as ME version of Jules

Jack as ME version of Vincent

<car washing scene>

Tali: Keelah, I will never forgive you this. This is some really screwed up, repugnant crap.

Jack: Tali, did you ever hear the philosophy that once a man admits he is wrong, that he is immediately forgiven for all wrongdoings? Ever heard that?

Tali: Get the hell out my face with that thing! Bosh'tet that said that thing never had to pick up itty – bitty pieces of skull on account of your dumb arse!

Jack: I got a threshold, Tali, I got a threshold for the abuse that I will take. Right now, I'm a ****in' race car, and you got me in the red. And I'm just sayin', I'm just sayin', that it's ****in' dangerous to have a race car in the ****in' red. That's all. I could blow.

Tali: Oh, you're ready to blow?

Jack: Yeah, I'm ready to blow.

Tali: Well, I'm a mushroom – cloud – laying bosh'tet, bosh'tet! Every time my fingers touch that brain, I'm Superfly T.N.T., as Shepard once said, I'm the Guns of the Navarone, whatever were those! In fact, what the hell am I doing in the back!? You're the bosh'tet who should be on brain detail! We're switching! I'm washing the windows, and you're picking up this idiot's skull!

I'm still thinking those choices will really show in the finale (where branching paths are actually managable).  The main issue with ME2 having branching playthroughs is that they could easily double, triple or quadruple the amount of storyline branching they'd have to do for ME3.

But hey, I'm an optimist.

I think that's a seperate issue than the game changing on past decisions though.  I'm expecting multiple endings based on how you play ME3, but I'm not expecting past decisions to limit the amount of endings you can achieve.  I can't see Bioware doing anything to discourage people who didn't play ME1/2 from buying 3.  And not being able to achieve the best ending because the rachni are dead and you blew up the Cerberus base (when you didn't have control over those decisions) isn't a fun situation.  I definitely expect ME3 decisions to branch, but I also expect to be able to get the super paragon ending even if I was 100% renegade for the first two.

Not having your choices affect the plot is annoying, but having them change characters and dialogue is alright as a consolation.  I see that as the most likely path.

Well, I'm crappy dialogue writer. I just took original dialogue from the film and modified it 'a bit' to fit better Tali's personality.Well, still not good enough. Need some goddamn master to make that abomination good...

On that note, I wonder what Tali would say if she watched that.

Tali : I see where your people issues are coming from Shepard...
Shepard : I don't have people issues....
CSEC racist : Hey you! Quarian! Ya you, you got a papers to prove you aren't a vagrant?
Shepard : Wait a min hun ... *Shoots CSEC Racist in the foot*  See... no issues at all, just results.

Tali's loyalty mission seems like it could have bigger effects, but limitations of ME being a trilogy have me cynical.  It would be cool if ME3 was directly effected by your actions, but Bioware can't do that.  They will want ME3 to be able to play out no matter how you played ME2.

Truth be told, I see no reason why Bioware can't have imported saves where what you've done in the past can determine whether or not the Admirals listen to you.

Shepard has done a lot for the Quarians, more than most (if any) humans, and he's also done a lot for the Geth by rewriting/destroying the Heretics.  Both of those should have a considerable impact on whether or not the Admirality Board listens to him.

Trust me they put all of this stuff in the game for a reason.  They know all the big moments that can effect how ME3 turns out and planned for this or they wouldnt have put it in the game.  I am confident that they will go all out with ME3 and not let your actions from ME2 go to waste.  All I really want is a happy ending where I get to marry Tali and live with her on the home world in a new house.

That's not really the issue I'm concerned with though (decisions not being present at all.)  I know what I did in ME2 will show up in some capacity, I just don't think it will affect the plot.  Look at Wrex in ME2.  Either you meet up with an awesome old friend who helps you along with your journey.  Or you meet up with another krogan who helps you in the same way, sans awesomeness.  That makes the most sense for how they could handle ME3.  It's a lot of extra work to make a seperate game for people that played the first 2.

This doesn't change LI stuff, since that's extraneous to the plot in the first place.  No reason you shouldn't be able to continue the romance.

Yes. I must agree.

Yes, but there are many exceptions.

German is my first language ;)

Although i german is my mother tongue english is a much easier and better structured language.

I don't know an immigrant, who is speaking german perfectly; because the tenses, cases and genus is very difficult.
But i think, there are plenty much of people, who are speaking perfectly english ;)

Not Tali related:

Here's a link to Mark Twain's Essay "The Awful German Language".  If you've had to learn German as an English speaker, this hits pretty close to home.  It's hilarious.  It made studying for my German reading exam in graduate school bearable.

i want some of whatever the artist is smoking

I think I'm the only one that might get the Anchorman reference here. "See that rainbow over there! Do me on it!" It's from the scene where they both have that weird animated feel to it.

At least that's what I get from this picture.

Clearly a post modern image rendered to remind us of the frailty of life in a harsh uncaring universe. Complete with the racial undertones we have come to expect from Mass Effect, the rainbow in particular; a nauseating reminder of the many shapes and colors alien life is capable of expressing. The dark point of origin, the mass relay emanating with ominous red lines. The price we have all paid for travel through the stars is to be confronted with oblivion. Truly a terrifying and thought-provoking peace, I hope to see more from this artist in the future.

Legion became a Geth Colossus? How the hell are we gonna fit that into the AI Core?

Ah come on, the reveal has to be more dramatic than that.  On the homeworld, or a wedding or something.

I'm with you on a less dramatic beginning though.  I would think something like giving a speech to the crew a pretty short time after the ending of ME2.

The level of nerd-bliss/nerd-rage (from people who do or don't agree with what she looks like, respectively) that would be unleashed by such an action would mean that half the Mass Effect players would cease playing the game almost immediately and come on these forums to talk about it.

Given current evidence, it's most logical that such an action would lead to the death of half the Mass Effect playing community, as they would be glued to their computer to defend their side in the impending Talimancer civil war, thus ending the Talimancer threat once and for all and ensuring dominance for the Mirandites and others, and costing Bioware half of their playerbase to download and play DLC, namely Tali-related DLC.

Such an outcome is negative for all sides.

To clarify, I'm saying that I think your dealings with the heretic geth will have a large impact on the whole of Geth "society". Up until the heretics split the geth had never even experienced a difference in opinion within their ranks, and yes the reapers brainwashed the heretics so to speak, but the geth do not see themselves as individuals. I got the impression while talking to Legion that once reintigrated with the rest of the group, all geth would would have memory of the heretics actions.
Thinking about it again, if there is to be peace between Quarians and Geth it would likely be written into the main story as a major event that your decisions can have a notable effect on, but nothing that would come about directly as a result of your decisions up to this point.
