of course its her personality.  Her hips are just a bonus

I don't think my friend cares about LIs. He thinks she's useless and just doesn't like her much. I told him that she is more useful if you play as a soldier, I think he was some sort of biotic character.

Time doesnt stop. Time dilation is an optical illusion cuased the decreased speed of exiting light due to massive effect of the gravitational pull.

yes, but the singularity of point mass creates an infinite tidal force... which causes a time dialation of infinite magnitude...

If time stopped at the event horizon of a black hole then nothing would ever reach the black hole and thus mass would never be added to it and it would never increase in size..... but we know thats not true.

if left alone they decrease in size over time.

Keep in mind that light beams that are "climbing out" of the gravity well of a black hole are stretched, a-la the Doppler Effect, to extremely long radio frequencies that nobody would ever be able to see with their eyes.  The object would actually disappear from view before it got to the event horizon because of that.  Any "image" that might be sitting on the event horizon of a black hole has long been obscured by the radiation of the accretion disc, and the fact that it has had its wavelength increased from a few meters to a few hundred kilometers or more.

that's where the math gets fuzzy... the theory is that the point mass (the core of the black hole) is infinitly small, yet infinitely massive. thus, the spacetime distortion makes the approximately 2 meter size of the black hole appear infinite to objects inside it... right now, the physics of a black hole make no sense... science just isn't far enough yet.

essentially, objects would appear to freeze as they entered, but to the actual object, it would look as if they entered into an infinitely large "space"

My theory is that the sun on Haestrom is dying because of the Reapers.  I think the Reapers must have done something to different suns in the galaxy as part of their extinction plan.  After they wiped out the Protheans, i think they did this as a backup plan in case they were delayed getting back in the galaxy.  I think the Reapers are the only ones capable of doing this, and isnt it a little suspicious that the sun is dying around the time the Reapers are due to arrive.

I don't think the Reapers believe they can be defeated. Harbinger speaks to Shepard and says "Your race has attracted the attention of those infinitely greater than yours."

The Reapers think highly of themselves. I believe that they emit dark energy just by existing to those around them (Which could be a way that they indoctrinated the Cerberus workers, I believe the research assistant on Virmire (who you find on Korus) also says this is a possibility.

I think it was set up for the final screen. The Reapers, who are moving to the Galaxy. Are close enough to emit energy to Hatestrom. WHich means that would be the area in which the Reapers are heading towards. That's all just a theory though.

With that, I must go now.

I wouldn't say that they believe that they can't be defeated. Just as TIM they are evil and arrogant but not completely stupid. They have weaknesses just like everyone else and they know it but don't show them. They probably did a lot of things to secure their succes, the only question is what thing is the next.
Harbinger said "You have failed, we will find another way." So it's also possible that they are out of ideas now and have to do it on their own.

For me it's because her personality fits a perfect niche I hunger for.

She's sassy and strict, she'll blow your face off with a grenade if you've wronged her. She's loyal to a fault, she'll stick by you no matter what so long as you prove you're a friend. She's competent and handy. She'll keep her personal business her own unless asked (remember she was scheduling a ship to take her to the fleet so to not interrupt your mission!).

She's a grease monkey <3 But that's just fetish fuel for me.

I like how she fits as a player. She's not some super bad ass marine or a rogue soldier, she's recieved no special training or even have special powers to balance a fight in her favour. She's just a normal person that excells (she excels at tech specifically) and everything she does is what anyone is capable of.

Basically I love everything about her. <3:wub:
