Exactly what is it about the pic you guys dont like? The number of nostrils? Where in the evolutionary guide book does it say that 2 is better than 4?

Nostrils, facial scarring, everything else as well.
It was created by the Old Machines.

I dont see it as scarring as much as places that pollen would collect and then be washed out whenever a quarian is in rain.

If this is true then the Creators must be destroyed.

Back when they were on their homeworld. With out insect life to spread pollen it was up to quarians to do that. So they would evolve places for loose pollen to build up and be dispearsed.

How do we know they spread pollen around?
There is no evidence to prove that theory.

judging by how long it takes them to actually getting around to getting a new platform into service its likely the mako is the direct successor to the m1a2
