Very impressive, yet I hesitate to consider any single military weapon a "silver bullet". Too many times in the past people have exclaimed that a new technology will be the "be-all-end-all" of warfare. To date none of them have been correct. I propose a diversified arsenal with key units developed to handle a number of tasks exceedingly well, possibly even numerous combat roles normally assigned to several different weapons platforms in the past. This would theoretically increase modularity in both equipment and training thus keeping costs down, while also helping to keep further costs down due to not requiring a different tool or machine for every single task.

Note: There is the possibility that designing multi-task machinery may end up being more expensive than designing and constructing simpler single used machinery. Though again, the costs of maintaining multiple outfits of different machines and the accompanying personnel costs may counter balance such a potential cost scenario.

Not end all, merely the induced direction of military stratagy and technology. Still will always be need for other approaches. Every situation different. Covert ops/surgical strikes likely other main focus in future. battles of attrition and clashes of large armies largley overthrown by technology. You either want to be very far away to minimize danger to your side. Or very close to achieve a specific objective, such as retrieval/sabatage or negating range factors. Mid range fighting going out of date.
