You need to go to your old computer and transfer the MP3 files from you Itunes folder (or whereever you store them) and place them on your new computer.

i consider myself book-smart, not tech-smart.

um...
Insert USB flash device in old comp
Click start button - Bottom left hand corner of screen - may say start or display the windows logo
Look for entry that says 'computer' or 'my computer' and click it
Doble clicke flash drive file often labeled as E: drive
Repeat steps 2 and 3
Double click C: Drive Icon
Double click folder that says 'program fliles' or 'program files (x86)
Find folder labled Itunes or Apple and enter.
Find MP3 files.
Highling and right click and use copy fucntion.
Open flash drive and use paste function.
Alternately you can drag them from the Itunes file to the flash drive file.
Place flash drive in new comp
Repeat process to access Itunes folder and open flash drive folder.
Move files from flash drive to Itunes folder that stores the MP3 files.
