Those are still some really interesting analyzations... I like their architecture, highly protective, could this mean they had a lot of internal conflicts, like wars? Could also put an emphasis on privacy, hence their opaque helmets, like you suggested earlier.

It's possible.  However, they were always a little fragile compared to other races, so it might be that real, total wars were just too destructive.  Imagine viral weapons being deployed; they'd probably never have made it into space.  Given their love of politicking and getting into everyone's business (which Tali talks about during her loyalty mission), I'd think they solved their differences with a lot of backbiting and intrigue.

Come to think of it, maybe the massive architecture had something to do with the relative fragility of their health.  Building to outlast, and all that.

Again, nothing but speculation.  Fun spectulation, but fairly baseless.

1. Majority of population doesn't have an actual religion, but instead follows philosophy and has great value in ancestry. I would guess this should relate to Confucianism, and I wouldn't be suprised if they had something similar.

The religion bit is interesting.  Before the geth uprising they literally could talk to their ancestors, or at least their ancestors' recorded memories.  I'd think each home would have a little shrine where family members could access their forefathers.

However important family or ancestry is, though, they're not quite as devoted as they could be.  For instance, their given names still come before their clan names.  Compare this to the krogan (Urdnot Wrex, Urdnot Grunt) or even the Japanese.  Even salarians are shown to treasure actual recorded lineages more.

In ME1, as you go through Feros you come across some sort of Geth Shrine. I would guess they got this idea from the Quarians, know that you mention the shrines in the first paragraph

But you also find that Shrine on an uncharted world where an engineering/research team got turned into husks. According to the dialog from your squadmates it happened due to alien technology not because of the Geth so I would say those shrines are from Sovereign and do not reflect on a possible connection to the religion of the Quarians that was kind of adopted by the Geth.

Those are still some really interesting analyzations... I like their architecture, highly protective, could this mean they had a lot of internal conflicts, like wars? Could also put an emphasis on privacy, hence their opaque helmets, like you suggested earlier.

What I would like to know how did it look on their homeworld with storms/hurricanes etc. They build to last that much is clear.

Their homeworld was supposed to be more aird than Earth.  Don't know just what that would mean for weather, though.  I'm assuming it wasn't a complete desert (like the drell homeworld), just more dry.  It was called a "garden" after all.

In my opinion she only said that because on the Migrant Fleet space is sparse and so they have to get into each others business since they all consider each other a big family.

Afternoon, Folks. Wow, I just got to say, it really warms the heart to Log in and see my fellow Tali-mancers having these really deep thought out discussions about Quarian Society, Religion, Achitecture, etc. I love it. I mean, yeah, we still get the occasional person who wanders in and says something pointless or inappropriate, but for everyone else the Conversations continue to impress. Kudos. Things like this really confirm that even though we Love Tali in very different ways (i.e. Emotional, Personality, Arousing Female Figure, etc) we can all agree that her backstory drives people to do thier homework, and really think about the reasoning behind her actions, the actions of her people, thier collective mindset, and so. Way to go, Tali-mancers. Keep it up!

She does say that it's because they're one big family.  I'm just extrapolating.
