Oh that's ridiculous, of course there is.  I think they only added the glowing eyes to make it easier to give her expressiveness.  She didn't have them in the first game, it isn't written in stone.  I don't think it even makes any sense.  They might have reflective membranes in the back of their eyes, like cats or something, but glowing?  No way.

Have to agree on that one.. haven't seen a close up of Tali in that resolution before.. so if it wasn't the devs, what's the source image? Or was it made from scratch.. then it's almost too good

Im looking at the pounce scene, and it looks like the mouth part is supposed to come off, or perhaps there is something on top of it that makes the mouth peice light up.

Eh.. yeah it's nice, but not very distinctive, frankly.  Don't get me wrong, it looks nice and all.
I still like the one I re-posted better.

It gives you a good impression on how Bioware should approach the situation.  Personal preferences aside, a Tali like the one you posted would be met with some people loving it, and probably a lot more hating it.  A generic human face with a different skin tone and eyes would be met with a lot more approval.  And in the end, that's the smart business move.

yeah, in the pic, only the glass is removed. it's a bit of discrepancy as to how the mask works. That's my only complaint about it--since it messes with the proportions of the face.

There was no mention of government at all, consipiracy theory doesn't inherently refer to government.

Complaining about off topicness after 5 pages is one thing, complaining about it when theres a small chance an off topic discussion may pop up is quite a bit excessive <_<

Messed around for a few minutes on the eyes, I think they could use a little more subtlety though. (Although to be fair, they're pretty harsh-edged ingame.)

Ok good, glad to know Im not seeing things. I'd say I'm not crazy, but I am crazy...for tali...so that's a moot point. My question is should the whole mouth peice come off? Because it seems like its built onto the mask...damn. Now Im going to have to go home and like study Tali very carefully rather then playing. Oh well, worse ways to spend my time I suppose.
