well the first was 350 or so i think the second was 1149. pretty close.

Talimancers represent 25% of all posts to the ME2 campaign quests forum.

Where did you get that info?

350 + 1150 + 2500 = 4000

Addition. Do you speak it?

Ok, I was doing some thinking about why tali's eyes glow.

I can't explain it any further but the reason for tali's eye glow has to be Bioluminescence, very powerful Bioluminescence that combined with specialized eyes would give them excellent night vision. So I think that Quarians were originally nocturnal on their homeworld.

Impossible.  Tali's eyes will not glow, and if they do it will be silly.

It is impossible to see with a light source that is within the light detector no matter what the design.  If Tali's "eyes" are like flashlights, then the thing that she is using to see is not her eyes.  A reflective tapetum?  Thoroughly feasible -- maybe even likely, since the light output of her home star is weaker than Sol -- but not bioluminescence.

People are really enamored of this "glowing eye" idea, but I really just think it was to help make her face more expressive in ME2 because of her larger part and greater amount of rather emotional dialogue.  Why else would these suddenly appear?  She didn't exhibit this rather significant biological feature in the first game, after all.

Not just want her "back" in ME 3, need to continue as Love Interest and remain as Squad Member. Not sideline into "cameo" roles where she pops in ..do a few lines and is not involved with Shepard and crew anymore.

Its not that I have little faith in Bioware, thinking that they'll change everything to cater to the fans whim, Tali's face is just the perfect place to do it.  It's a small detail that doesn't change anything overall, and can make a lot of people enjoy the game more.  Its the same reason that they were smart to listen to the fans and make Tali an LI.  It didn't change anything about ME2 as a whole, and now they have a whole new legion of fan boys that will buy ME3 no matter what.

I'm not saying that they should change the whole game until its ME3: Tali and Shep's adventure.  There is a large difference in ruining a game because you listen to the fans too much, and slightly changing one minor detail that a lot of people's enjoyment hinges on.  I trust Bioware to know the difference.  Even if your a developer first, and a businessman second, you still have to find a balance between your own ideas, and how they would be recieved by your customers.  Bioware has been the master of that.  I don't see them losing that balance now, and making Tali attractive to as many people as possible wouldn't be losing that.

As far as hair, yeah the evidence is weak, that just falls into the vague nature of most of our details.  If I'm not mistaken, I believe there is more weak circumstantial evidence to support hair than there is to support baldness.

Did we play the same game?   Her eyes glowed (though not as brightly) in Mass Effect.

Assuming this is the Nightcrawler pic, can't see from this computer.
It's truly not that bad of a picture. If someone editted the nostrils people wouldn't hate it so much.
I sort of like it.

I just don't understand anything that has to do with nightcrawler Tali.  I don't get the people that love it, I don't get the people that spam "" faces because of it.  I don't get how it represents Tali at all.  I'm just clueless.

I will say though, I really don't think the nostrils are the cause of all the hate.  That seems more like a scapegoat excuse.  Its such a small piece of the overall face.  I'm sure most people dislike the overall look, but its much similar to just say 4 nostrils.  Personally, I find the skin ridges much more displeasing, but I still stick to my opinion that if you put a different hood on it, no one would associate it with Tali at all.  The picture just doesn't strike me as quarian.

Stick a different hood on any known pic and no one will associate it to a quarian.  Just because some find this pic pleasing (I know I'm not the only one) doesn't mean were in the wrong.

Never said I think people who like this pic are wrong.  My opinion is that pictures that eschew all the ideas I have of what quarians look like don't appeal to me.  I personally don't see Tali when I look at it.  If you do, that's fine.  To each their own.

Tali's eyes did glow in ME1. Much brighter in ME2. Alternate theory regarding Quarian eyes is "eyeshine." HUD interior to helmet may reflect off eyes.

I dunno. I may sound like an EA hater but, I don't trust EA ... ever since they got there hands on Bioware..I just wanna weep.

I think it is silly to assume that EA has much at all to do with game design.

Bioware was a very successful company -- it isn't as if EA just took them over and are calling all the shots now.  I don't know if you're aware of this, but my understanding is that the heads of Bioware now retain a major amount of EA stock and retain the authority to make decisions about Bioware.  EA just wanted in on their profits.  Since they are an incredible successful developer, the heads of Bioware likely had a lot of leverage in getting to decide what sort of power they have.

People always moan and groan whenever a company they like gets bought.  Sometimes this is with good reason, but sometimes it seems as if fans abandon the company even if they don't change simply because they assume that everything will be worse and that the purchasing company is now running everything.  Consequently, every little thing they don't like becomes "See!  EA is ruining them!  Bioware sold out, waaaah!", even if, in reality, it was entirely Bioware's decision.

Bioware is still the great bunch of minds it was before.  Sure they share profits with EA now, and they probably make use of EA's resources, but EA is still not a developer.  They're a publisher with the good business sense to try and acquire one of the most, perhaps the most, successful developing house in the entire gaming biz right now.

I find it interesting that quarians would be wearing masks during the Morning War when they could still breathe the air on Rannoch.  As well as the fact that you didn't see any of them without masks for the however many years you were alive working as a servant geth before the Morning War.

In other words, geth know what quarians look like.
