Haha man, I can hardly even handle watching videos of other people doing this stuff.
I accidentally saw a clip of someone killing Wrex on Virmire the other day (didn't know it was part of the video -- it was a compilation), and I had to hit the Back button, haha. Wrex making those gurgling death sounds made me so upset... nOoOoOooooo, Wrex my buddy!!!

I actually laughed at the Wrex death. Tough old bastard. Had to shoot him in the face twice. With a shotgun.

I enjoy watching the renegade vids people put up but man the evidence turn in really bugs me.

Far as I know only Tali and Thane can have their loyalty missions get so out of hand that you can fail them outright.:bandit:

If you want tali to end up dead, do something else, like get her exiled and then not buy the armor I think it is and take Garrus and Legion to fight the occulus. She'll die that way too. but you did not screw up as bad as if you had betrayed her and hen killed her.

Since I'm watching the video of handing over the evidance now, I wont have to later. Besides I can't play ME2 at the moment anyway.

True I always forget about him since he's DLC. Also renegade auto passes his so it's not as much of an issue.

Either I choose the one that can fight but I loathe or the one that can't fight but I appreciate. :bandit:

Thank god they didn't pull that in ME2,

"Now choose, Tali or Garrus!"...

The decision that had to be made on Virmire was probably the single most debilitating decision I've faced in a computer game up to that point. At the time I was romancing Ashley (I still think she gets a bad rap that's not entirely deserved from many posters,) while Alenko had become a friendly comrade. I was genuinely torn. Ultimately I opted to save my love/lover at the time.

If I had to choose between Tali and Garrus it would be a no-brainer for me. Tali by a country mile.

Garrus. Your my boy and all...and I love ya like a brother, but your gonna have to take this one for the team brah.

If I came to it, the same thing. It would also meant that I had just spent like FOUR full playthoughs with nouthing but Tali and Garrus at my sides. becuase I would have gone back an re did everything to max level as male so I could romance Tali (I play femshep most of the time)

With Xen sitting right there, even more stupid. Giving her anything to further her goals will pretty much damn the fleet.

Really? I never came close to failing it but that makes sense. So you can only fail the loyalties of all the 3 last dossiers then.

Nah you see imo, she doesn't get the mercy of knowing that its coming...though Im not even sure my Infiltrator finds her even worth spending a round on. Might just stealth cloak and hand cannon her from behind.

And then Tali can take her place...after we've saved the galaxy.

My money is on her being a major instigater of the Geth conflict in 3. Either right or wrong.

Interesting thought, what if Rael and Xen actually did create a program that rewrote the Geth to be loyal? Not a virus that wrecks them but a program that allows them to integrate together?

Nothing about ME1 was emotional and heartfelt.  ME2 was so much better at being emotional that they shouldn't even be compared.  There are at least 10 scenes more emotional in ME2 than the most emotional one in ME1 (Which I would personally vote is the Virmire choice.)

I have to protest (!).  I played through once as a... Colonist and found the "I Remember Me" mission surprisingly moving.  Make that ASTONISHINGLY moving.  I found myself choking up, and thinking "This is a VIDEO GAME!!!  I'm getting emotional over a VIDEO GAME!!!".  It really was an achievement, IMO.

I do agree that there are more emotional moments in ME2 - although many of them are only possible because of the foundation set by ME1.

Rachni Queen's message: "This is AWESOME!!!"

Conrad Werner (again):  "This is AWESOME!!!"

Bereaved Asari broker:  "OMG!  I 'MET' those people! ... This is AWESOME!!!"  (And, surprisingly moving.)

(To tell you the truth, I've played ME1 so many times I've forgotten if/how I felt about the Virmire choice...  It was probably a little ...wrenching the first time through.)

Ashley definitely got a bad rap after ME1.  I defended her constantly every time people started the whole anti Ashley argument.  Then ME2 comes around and punishes me for it by making her completely unlikable.  <_<

Huh? You can. He always talks to me. He'll tell you two tales everytime you have a mission refresh  then say "I'll let you go" You can also click on the rifle, the Model Turian Frigate and the Helmet. The rifle has the most "stories" behind it.

Hm. That would raise a two-part moral dilemma for me. First of all, the true Geth do not appear to be mindlessly aggressive if Legion's commentary is accurate. Quite the contrary; based upon Legion's descriptions the Geth may in fact be amongst the most tolerant and enlightened sapient factions in known galactic society (quite ironic yet possibly fitting given their history and synthetic status). Secondly, I don't trust Xen's machinations further than I could throw her which probably isn't all that far. The thought of her, or anyone else for that matter (including humanity), having unhindered access to a synthetic army possibly numbering in the billions makes me uneasy.

It really sucks because she had such a down home girl thing going on with her family, and the story about her sister and stuff...

And then Horizon happens and its like..."Well fine. Screw you too."
