Does anyone else really like the symbolism in the Tali/master chief face thing? The fact that only shepard knows what she looks like. It seems like a very intimiate thing to me. That's the main reason I love the scene so much. At first I was like "oh fukk you bioware!" But the more I thought about it the more i came to like it.

I don't see much symbolism in a hole in the role playing story line.  It's a massive disconnect in the idea of the player actually being Shepard.

The Master Chief thing is explainable since he's an avatar of yourself, he's Shepard.  I would be fine if Shepard was the masked character you never saw.  With Tali it's just annoying.  She's a character created arbitrarily by Bioware.  She has a specific face, and "our character" has seen her, but we haven't.

Wings you say? I can't help but imagine Asari ear holes.... or some weird ear gills. I'm baffled what they'll really be.

Well, first of all I never particularly cared about Master Chief
He was barely a character; he had no discernable personality traits other than "soldier".  He was just the polygons that were holding my guns, as far as I'm concerned, and I honestly wasn't that curious about what was under the visor as a result.

Tali, on the other hand, I am actually invested in.  I won't say that I liked them not showing her face, but I am okay with it as long as there is a reveal in ME3.

I imagine they'll be rather conservative. either human-ish or like the asari's ear-holes. Just noticed a lot of the art had them looking wing-like
