bad example. clearly very bright light at camera location.

Totally irrelevant.  If much light was reaching the cat's position then it wouldn't be dark down there.
Besides, come on.  Have you never seen a cat's eyes become highly reflective in the dark ?  It takes VERY little light to make them glow brightly.

cat have two lenses on eyes one lense may possibly make eyes glow when light touches them and also cat not wearing helmet like tali helmet like sunglasses reflects most light

I hope you're not suggesting that all light is destructively interfering at the bottom of the stairs except at the location of the cat's eyes <_<

I still think that her mask has to serve more than the mere purpose of shielding her face. Quarians all live in suits so the masks must have some type of digital interface in there that identifies other Quarians and objects for them. I Think its that same program that makes her eyes glow for better viewing, or at least it could be projecting light in that are. what do you guys think?

Himmelstor still shows up. Not often, but does. Am student of Himmelstor.

Quarians take off masks sometimes if mask did tht then it would be very hard to see while mask off also if projects light why dont turn off until in dark place

A good point. But bioluminescense would make her blind right? And i can't seem to beleive that every single quarian has the same implants.

Yet another reason why I think this entire discussion is silly.
Her eyes don't glow, they just did it so you could see her eyes in order to make her face more expressive.

No biolum would not blind you, biolum is usually notabley less than even a 60 watt bulb and you dont go blind when you see that. I would also point out that many earth creatures use biolum to see and biolum cells are often found near or in the 'eyes' or similar structure.

Actually I was suggesting that visible light is not the only light available for sight.
