Actually I was suggesting that visible light is not the only light available for sight.
Light duality doesn't suggest that. In fact, light's wave nature is largely irrelevant unless the light is extremely monochromatic, or when passing through extremely narrow apertures, or through mediums with high refractive indexes.
Basically, if the light is not hitting the cat, it isn't hitting the cat's eyes either. Obvious conclusion is obvious: It is dark at the bottom of the stairs, therefore there is little light.
Wave nature relevent as it is wavelenght that determins what part of spectrum light falls into. Visible light only very very small portion of light wave spectrum. Particle nature makes light diffuse otherwise it would be pitch black at bottom of steps which it clearly is not as i can easily see objects beside the cat as well as the cat itself.

I'm positive that her eyes aren't synthetic. *Every* quarian has glowing eyes. Why would they implant synthetic eyes for every Quarian? How could they spend the resources for that? All their eyes should be fine, their sun is nearly identical to our own, just a bit older.

One should also note that quarians are aliens. Biology that applies to creatures on Earth won't necesarrily apply to aliens.sergio71785 wrote...
