Personally, I think it'd be idiocy on Bioware's part to write all of the characters out and introduce an all-new cast for the finale of a trilogy. Not only would 80% of the fanbase march up to Canada and riot, but it would completely contradict all the time you spent recruiting and getting to know "the best of the best."
A lot more work to bring back 12 characters for cameos and write 10 new ones as well. I really can't see any way we get a new cast for ME3. It makes no sense no matter how you look at it.

EA isn't as bad as they were. Its time for whoever's still hating them to reexamine the company.
Activision is the new devil.
Yeah, EA isn't nearly as "evil" as they once seemed.
I don't really have a problem with them publishing BioWare's stuff. It seems to me that they give BioWare complete--or very close to complete--control over their projects.
It's an absolutely beautiful thing when a talented development studio has access to tons of financial resources, while at the same time keeping complete creative control. Some notable examples of this would be Valve and Blizzard.
Sorry had to come back to say that blizzard sold out to the devil long ago after the success of WoW. They are now part of activision, and are one of the worst examples of what happens to good developers when they get rich. WoW completely massacred the story of Warcraft and the new Starcraft instalments (yes pluaral) further points to thier greed as a major motivating factor.
blizzard is fine. People are still getting mad over the installments? Every major new RTS game has expansions. They're big money and it'd be stupid if Blizzard didn't offer them. You don't need them, they're mostly singleplayer anwyays. They just add a few new units to the multiplayer.
Why should I get screwed out of campaign content, just because YOU don't want it. Don't want to sink more money into the game, fine, dont buy it. Sorry that was OT, but it makes me nerdrage when I see people talk down SC2 expansions.

These days I much prefer EA over 2K-"let's-use-boneheaded-GFWL-DRM", Activision-"screw-the-gamers" and Ubisoft-"we've-successfully-created-the-worst-24/7-online-connectivity-required-DRM-for-all-new-and-future-Ubisoft-games".
What did Activision do exactly?
Asides from deliberately raising the price of a game simply because they were confident they could get away with it and then have said game turn out to have a 4-6 hour single player campaign and a multi-player campaign they insisted offered equal value for all players across platforms despite setting online PC gaming back some 10-15 years? Or how about good ol' Bobby publicly bad mouthing gamers, etc.? Not much (and yes, that was sarcasm that last bit).
I refuse to buy Activision games just as much as I refuse to buy any games that come with DRM that install secret files on my PC without my express permission. The games that come with limited activations are also black listed. Games that require online registration to work when they are NOT specifically multi-player games are games I either won't buy or I will wait a year or two until they are in the discount bin. I won't pay full retail price for what is a glorified rental. If publishers and developers want to play hardball then I'm game. They need money from gamers like me. I don't need their games. They should never forget that lesson and I'm happy to remind them as often and for as long as it takes for it to get through their stubborn heads. I do not tolerate faceless corporate suits trying to control my private life! My freedom is not for sale.
P.S. I also have an ongoing boycott of all Sony products since a subsidiary of Sony created SecuROM. The only time I may end up buying a Sony product is if it's a DVD movie and I haven't noticed it's from Sony. LG got my money for a lovely 42" LCD TV instead. Suck on that Sony!

Yeah of course, the Xbox version would totally be scaled back to be on par with ME1/ME2. Just saying, it would be nice to have access to those visuals on my PC.
Just remember that the next time you want better graphics.

I think that's what you'll get - if you managed to kill off all your supporting squad members, you'll have those held back from ME1 so you'll at least have two to join you on missions.Somebody1003 wrote...

You can't kill off everyone. You need 2 people alive I think (may be one,) or else Shepard dies and you can't import into ME3.

Hey everyone. I just got my new issue of Game Informer in the mail, and there's an interview with Casey Hudson in it. There's nothing Tali-specific in it, of course, but he had an interesting comment that makes me think all of the living characters in ME2 will have an impact in ME3. Here's a direct quote.
Q.) Certain party members from the first game can be recruited in ME2. Does that mean we'll see characters from this game make a return in ME3?
A.) You will definitely be able to see characters from ME2 in ME3, as long as they're alive in the end of your story. ... it's going to be a huge payoff for players of the ME trilogy to see what happens with all these characters and storylines started by the first two games.
No new info here, but it makes me optimistic for how BioWare wants to approach the story's resolution. It seems they want to tie up all the loose ends, which I think will be a good thing for any romance-able characters from either the first or second game.
Anywho, just throwing it out there. Keelah se'lai.
Excellent find! Good to hear from Bioware.
