I find it funny, how many people even defend this policy, although it's ribbing them of.
BTW: You got to love Ubisoft's new copyprotection. ![=]](https://lvlt.forum.bioware.com/public/style_emoticons/default/sideways.png)
Aye, sometimes it makes me wonder when and where the disconnect occurs.
As for Ubisoft, suffice to say that they've just ensured that I will not buy any of there current nor future games that implement DRM systems of that nature. I don't care of one of their games is the equivalent of the "Second Coming of Christ" in the gaming world.
Stupid question, but what game is that?
Assassin's Creed II for the PC and all new and future Ubisoft games (ex. the next Settlers game, Splinter Cell: Conviction, etc.). For the PC versions you will need to be connected to the internet
at all times in order to play! If your internet connection cuts out, even if only for a few moments, the game closes down and won't function. In some cases the game won't even save your last game play data and thus you may have to do some in-game things over. Ubisoft is now claiming they are changing that for AC II so that it saves at the point you lose your connection. However, hackers attacked a Ubisoft server and a number of legitimate AC II players were unable to play because of it. Yep. Ubisoft sure has outdone themselves. The moment you begin to focus more on pirates than the paying customer you've already begun to lose the battle.
